Only 3 more chapters in this book and the crusaders continue on. It appears they will defeat the crown prince and his forces.

His grandfather implied wrongly he orchestrated the killing of his father. Ishan could not put together the assassins. He was a sorcerer not a fierce warrior with ties to assassins like his older brother. Maybe, his grandfather really knew this but needed the crown prince to kill the crusaders. Ishan was expendable in his eyes. Ishan is now held captive in his quarters. His brother, the crown prince, was ordered by his grandfather to attack the crusaders. The crown prince, I expect, will be focusing on attacking and destroying the crusaders and to earn his grandfather's approval. Ishan will be killed after the crusaders are wiped out. Ishan reached out in his isolation for Wylan and could only expressed his grief. He is paralyzed. Islan needs to think about what he can do now. I think after reflecting to he will tell Wylan that a major attack is coming. He might be able to give him advice on how to prepare to fight and find his older brother so he is killed. His father's death needs to be avenged

Will is desperate for a solution and relief. I think he is going to hear Jeremy out and, if his ideas promise a way out, he might well follow Jermy's plan modified by his own ideas, too. Will knows the campus and how the students are acting and realizes a change is needed. He will want to know what could help him deflect attention away from himself. What is Jeremy's plan to help Will? Might he suggest Will begin a part time modelling contract with a reputable agency until a new "it" guy emerges?

Jeremy is insanely jealous Will won the costumed contest, not him. He counselor turned his anger around and said he needed to take credit also for the win. He picked the costume. The paparazzi are driving Will crazy on campus. He is the "it" guy and the star. He does not know what to do. If he cannot find a solution he will transfer to Stanford Jeremy surprised him and attends his next volleyball game. He sat next to Marie who told him about the paparazzi hounding Will. Jeremy congratulates Will on winning his game and say he may have solution to help him handle the camera parasites. Will wants his help. We will find out what Jeremy has in the next chapter. A good plan could bring the brothers much closer together.

Scott is going to deepen his research. Gabriel is adding a disguise and will be looking for the Senator's potential killer. Gabriel and Lonnie had a candid talk after fighting. Lonnie will try to keep the band safe. There are a loose number of killers, including a mysterious one who thinks Gabriel is going to kill the Senator. Is he a Homeland Security agent or a former Army/CIA team mate of Gabriel? I can see things fall apart fast. Gabriel may be called upon to save Sean and he will.

Lawrence seems to be temperamentally and intellectually suited to fit in at this school, He is not seeking friends and will not be put out by condescending attitudes, He is not from money and old money has rules and boundaries. He will be observing and he no greater goal. Will Bastien begin to shake him up more? I expected Larence's standoff manner might intrigue him. He has to watch out for Anton. If I was to start a longer list of potential killers, I would add Antoon to the list. He seems the jealous type.
