They were directed to a vacant bordered up house. The best action it seems was to knock the door in and be ready to kill the ones inside. Fenn led the charge and moved inside after the door has handled. He found two dead bodies and the soundsmith inside. Now what.... Can he disable or win a fight with the soundsmith? Why did the magical being kill the assassins?

Was this attack on Ain a distraction for the main enemy effort? The real plan must have been to kill Ain and Fenn and the leaders of his country in the fire. I hope few people are killed. It would be a classic move. Take out the head of the opposing force. I agree the security was weak. I cannot wait for the next chapter and the after action report.

The ship was attacked by raiders and Lt, Jonathan Vally as navigator and Vallin Sturgis, a genetically enhances pilot, needed to escape. Their cargo ship was being blown apart. Lt Vally led Val to a special area that contained a secret exploratory ship that had great speed. The two took off and their blast seemed to injure the attacking vessel. Maybe, it cannot chase them. The two escapees successfully reached Jupiter Station. Val is being taken to the medic. He is impaired since he did not complete his required bonding before he piloted the ship. I hope they can bond and begin their explorations. Interesting start with a promising future when you decide to pick it up.

Orel does not know that he gave Finn the choice of staying in the manner repairing its historic cars and being with Orel or going to prison for a very long time. Tarquin said he would tell Orel about the offer he made to Finn. Tarquin will be surprised, I bet. Lydia and Ms. Patel are securing the evidence to contest Tarquin's guardianship/conservatorship.
