Helen and Rick met Shane, the injured prostitute beat up by Jarvis, in his hospital room. They offered to help him, but he was resistant and feared retaliation by Jarvis who said he had friends in high places. Shane was told by who he thought were two cops who visited him earlier that he was in trouble. Helen assured him he was not. Rick sat next to Shane and made the pitch that they could help him and with his testimony and one from another young man , then Jarvis could be put away. Shane agreed at the end to help. He also is going to need protection. Helen is going to be checking out who was getting into her case. It was troubling.

OMG--Brian and Alex fought the snow, broke away from their attackers with a car ride from Kyle and eventually ended up in an Ottawa bus station finding the lost youth who was fleeing to Toronto. But, as Alex went after him, two menacing hulks appeared on the opposite p[latform looking for Julian Lawson. They were going after the target. What can Alex do? Julian sees the evil men and is scared. Time for some luck and a distraction?

He will not be on the lookout for threats or kidnapping efforts. Sarah was a traitor to Will Carter and the current government and is hide Ned's data from Will and violate her duty in the CSIS threat analysis. If Andrew and CSIS find Ned and she learns about it, then she could alert Silas who could order Ned kidnapped

I hope Will's select team looks at those whom are connected to Will and his office. The violence and destruction caused by the several men and their machines has to be noticed at some point by the local police and/or the RCMP. It could be hard to prevent others from noticing rooming suspicious vehicles and a menacing acting fake police car . Agridyne has overstepped and, yet, is not finished aggressively going after Alex and Brian, I believe. The massive scale of the assaults so far must be beyond the ability of local police forces who might need soon to call for more help

OMG--Agridyne has committed extra forces and vehicles to do Alex and Brian in as they left the school. The car chase was scary, brutal, thrilling and ultimately a disaster for their car. They were rammed and pushed deep in the woods. Brian was forced to drive it into a snow bank so they could escape, They are now on foot with the enemy looking for them. This is Brian's territory and he must be able to find their way to a safe place eventually if they are not discovered. The enemy still thinks Brian is the son of the fleeing scientist.

Will's formal PM office is up and running ready to face the pressures. Hooray! His inner staff held no moles. I can see an extremist American group mistakenly believe that a right wing-controlled Canada would be a welcomed partner as a new state. But, this is a fantasy in real life. Can a right-wing , fundamentalist, Protestant Canadian group capture and keep hold of the national government without splitting the country apart? Some Provinces would rebel. The French speaking and nominally Catholic parts would most clearly rebel. would they not? Trump joked to two PM's as a way of unsettling them around potential tariff talks. He was trolling Canada like he trolled wanting Greenland as a new state. It would be impossible/impractical to happen in my view. He has done nothing to politically make it happen and he has been active on the international side. He only solidified opposition within Canada and Greenland to his desire for them to be US States. Canada seems to be looking elsewhere for tariff and trade help and not being held back by having to rely on the US. Canada as it now votes would be a heavily Democratic like country if it became a state. Trump would find at least the Republicans in Congress opposed to his expansion ideas which would cede power to its liberal opponents in Congress..

I am sure Brian will succeed with Alex after they save the boy and get the formula. They can alert Silas to counter any CSIS moves They also heard the following: The effort to find Rawlins is going nowhere and more effort needs to be made to find him. Also , a negotiator is going to meet with the compound leadership. Is the leader still so injured he cannot take part. Is the CSIS agent inside still alive? Andrew needs to be careful. Silas must think he is the master of all he commands to use a naval analogy.

Solid concept, good characters--looks like this will be finished and be impressive

Brian took Alex to his home and lair in the basement. There are some possible missteps or weaknesses by the Father's and Silas's plans that might help Andrew sees problems and find evidence of a greater and currently as yet unbelievable in scope conspiracy. As book one ended, only Sarah was considered and targeted for investigation as a possible mole. If she is revealed as the mole, what will they do with her? The late Jane who was killed in Louisiana transmitted information about the electronic link used by the Father's parents/relative. Information from this source might give insight into the Father or Silas and what is going on. Silas is going to have Bob Hesston killed. If the killing is in any way suspicious and Andrew or perhaps West investigates, then the true, cruel, un-Canadian like seriousness of the attack the government and Will are facing might become more evident. Also as book one ended the Canadian Army was going to attack the compound. Will any result of this attack as it filters through the military and its command structure suggest a problem evolving with the new General commanding the capital area? A military assist to support an opposition government side does not even seem as expected or credible at this time. Killing is going to be seen as a choice by the Father's people. They are ultimately fanatics. It is going to be initially unconceivable that any opposition movement would be so cavalier moral unbound about killing a major political figure. Andrew has to accept he is facing a vicious, the ends justify the means force/movement that is larger in scale than expected.. Jane was killed by them so more killing would be easy. The people in the compound killed the attacking RCMP.

So it begins. The level of planning to take over the government is extraordinary. At this point I cannot expect Will or Andrew to conceive of how extensive and serious the threat to Will's tenure as PM and how religious zealots will seek to control the people. At least the traitors have been identified for the readers. Three key people have been placed in critical positions to destroy Will. Moles are now connected to the PM's office, CSIS and the area military. They are committed to act to see Wil Carter goes down, They want a Christian Nationalist government, This end goal might well shock the Canadian people when it is made known.

Silas also worked so that the new Commanding General of the Army in the Capital region is an Order man. How soon will Andrew and Will realize how dangerous their situation is? Scary--very scary

Interesting, complicated issues The one situation that could be the most dangerous is the upcoming meeting the Serbian gangster wants with Brad. He said that the some unspecified problem is terribly dangerous. Brad will meet him with Jake providing protection. is dangerous. So, we await what Brad learns and considers what to do next. On another matter, Will is playing a therapist with a straight student who has to attend a campus LGBT meeting as punishment for gay bashing, I think Will is on track to have oral sex with the supposedly straight guy.

Noah is surprised to learn he is worth billion since his recently deceased grandmother left her all her money. She hated his mother and ignored her and his Uncle Mark in their will. These two have shown up hoping Noah would give them some of his money His other grandmother told him this story Then, Noah was again surprised to learn these grandparents were also worth billions, He is going to need family counselling and wise financial management advice. George is surrounded by family, friends and acquaintances at Brentwood, but feels lonely. Happily, Calvert arrived and they coupled helping uplift George's spirits.
