It’s never too late to present nominations for understatement of the year. Well done!

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if Eric is a fool, or how big a fool if he is.
  3. Lee Wilson
Thanks. They will probably get a HEA, can’t say that for everybody.
  4. Lee Wilson
Yes, definitely a smooth move. I needed another as$^%lo since I left Aaron’s family in the dust. Damn the consequences it is.
  5. Lee Wilson
What will Lee do to Eric? I wonder. Yes, Jonathan is trying to do the right thing. He recognized the asset Peter could be almost right from the start.

I think I can make it now, the pain is gone All of the bad feelings have disappeared Here is the rainbow I've been prayin' for It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright) Sun-shiny day Look all around, there's nothin' but blue skies Look straight ahead, nothin' but blue skies Johnny Nash - 1972 25 Late Sunday morning Aaron and I drove to the airport. I booked a hotel room in Riviera, which was the closest hotel to Armstrong between it and Corpus Christi Internatio

Peter was happy to put the whole situation behind him. He and Aaron were getting closer. He'd rather just forget about the family.

    Jamie Is Found

Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Jamie Is Found

I'm guessing chapter 3 is what really made you angry, but thanks for the compliment.

I got to "her drag name" and was surprised that was apparently a real person. Maybe I'll add a comment to that effect. I can't give details so I don't give anything away, but there is a place I could do that, although it would make for an amazing coincidence. Jugulars being considered.

Thanks Val, and all the admins for the great job you do. This was my first full year here, and I’m very happy someone recommended the site to me. For all you budding authors out there, don’t be afraid to take part in the events. I had a lot of fun writing something for each of them. None more fun than my entry for the ‘In Too Deep’ anthology, though. Sometimes it was a challenge, but what’s life without challenges, right?

    Chapter 47 S2

Lee Wilson commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 47 S2

I’d be lying if I said you were wrong. To paraphrase Ron White, once you’ve see a man naked… you want to see them all. Ron said woman.

    Chapter 47 S2

Lee Wilson commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 47 S2

Damn. I missed getting into the pool. Well, if it wasn't skinny dipping, not interested.

Sell the furniture. Why didn't I think of that? Well, they wouldn't get full price, so they'd be paying Mr. Carlton for stuff they no longer have. It went long for the ride, as you'll discover in chapter 8. I think, maybe a subtle reference to it going.
  14. Lee Wilson
They shouldn't. Maybe I'll kill them off in a horrible automobile accident. Oh, wait. I did that in 'Don't Blame the Band.' A house fire? Nope, did that too. Damn, I guess they have to live but be totally forgotten.
  15. Lee Wilson
Well, I don't want to make a liar out of you, so I'll admit, that is indeed one of the things I want to do with another guy. I'm not sure which story it was, but I did make a comment to the effect 'I kissed a guy yesterday.' Yes, hoping things work out myself.
  16. Lee Wilson
    Updated. Thanks.
  17. Lee Wilson
Indeed. If dad asked for the money all at once, he probably would have been told to go pound salt. Didn't even remember the Supremes doing it, but apparently, they sang it first. Hey, I could have said Kim Wilde. Don't say I never gave you anything: https://www.template.net/edit-online/314995/water-shut-off-notice 😁

But, like @chris191070 said above, he's better off without them. Sometimes things go public whether you want them to or not. Yep.
  19. Lee Wilson
I believe you're right on both counts. Although, perhaps not the NHC having regrets.
  20. Lee Wilson
Short-sightedness is rampant at the top of the NOAA. Your penultimate sentence is tremendously prophetic.
  21. Lee Wilson
    I believe we have.
  22. Lee Wilson
Daddy's more pissed off that he paid for Peter's furniture under the assumption he was seeing Rebecca. But the homophobia arises because he doubly doesn't want to help support his gay son.
  23. Lee Wilson
    Hmmmm, could be.
  24. Lee Wilson
Set me free, why don't you babe? Get out my life, why don't you babe? You really don't want me, you just keep me hanging on You really don't need me, you just keep me hanging on The Supremes - 1966, also recorded by Vanilla Fudge - 1967, Wilson Pickett - 1969, Kim Wilde - 1986, among others 22 Fortunately, I received a spare key when I moved in. I gave that to Aaron so he could come and go as he was moving his things. Apparently, he ran into Rebecca somewhere along the way.
  25. Lee Wilson
Gee, since so many people are awaiting the input on dad, maybe I should post it tomorrow instead of Thursday. I have my story for the Carlos Hazday tribute done, drafts of Madeline's story through chapter 2. I guess I can speed things up a tad.
