True, very often it does come from the estate, and in this case, namely the million dollar windfall. Dylan still had access to the account, so if one has the funds, paying for the funeral immediately works too. -

Friday It took Dominic a while to repair the relationship with his best friend, Mark. Lacy kept them apart when she was sick, and Mark stayed angry for quite some time. At breakfast, he asked if they could have a sleepover this weekend. I told him I wouldn't be home that night. He didn’t need to know the details. I told him he could sleep at Mark's house tonight, or they could sleep over here tomorrow night. It was too late tonight to make sure Grandpa would be okay with them here. Dom

It’s fairly obvious that Bruce was looking at a career as a burger-flipper. So, his career prospects won’t change much. But, yeah, they’re looking at a lot. I didn’t say specifically, but I’m thinking they’re a year behind, so 15. Borderline for being charged as adults. -

I agree. I've had up to ten rescue cats at one point. 2 have passed, one got out of the house, and we picked up a neighborhood cat that had been attacked by something. huge gash on his shoulder. Vet fixed him up and he's an indoor cat now.

Yeah, as long as the ideas keep arriving, once I get past that roadblock, the stories seem to write themselves. Reading through the comments, I thought of another song that I can see fitting Max and Stacy. Music is important to me, as you may know, I refer to enough of it in my stories. One line sticks with me specifically. And all I got is all I need and all I ever wanted A little house, big love You folks across the pond may be familiar with the artists. I like them a lot.

I too, like @Summerabbacat, am inflicted with allergies not typically troublesome elsewhere. Although I occasionally have the same symptoms writing my own stories. Does GA emit some pheromone that affects certain users in this way? It must. Anyway, sad to see it (almost) end, but look forward to reading more from you, once I slow down my own writing to one story at a time. Although I am working on a third, just not publishing it yet (not making THAT mistake again - two is more than plenty). Oddly enough, that new one doesn't cause that allergy. You really make the characters come alive and we care about them. Well done, sir.

Yep, I noticed. Chapter 18 is in progress. If I finish it today, I can send it to kbois and hopefully get it posted tomorrow or Wednesday. I'd say I'm 40-50% done.

Actually 6 boys, three girls, and another boy that didn't live very long. Not to mention all the other Jacksons that were identified in comments in a previous chapter. 😁
