    Chapter 15

Yeah, as long as the ideas keep arriving, once I get past that roadblock, the stories seem to write themselves. Reading through the comments, I thought of another song that I can see fitting Max and Stacy. Music is important to me, as you may know, I refer to enough of it in my stories. One line sticks with me specifically. And all I got is all I need and all I ever wanted A little house, big love You folks across the pond may be familiar with the artists. I like them a lot.

    Chapter 15

I too, like @Summerabbacat, am inflicted with allergies not typically troublesome elsewhere. Although I occasionally have the same symptoms writing my own stories. Does GA emit some pheromone that affects certain users in this way? It must. Anyway, sad to see it (almost) end, but look forward to reading more from you, once I slow down my own writing to one story at a time. Although I am working on a third, just not publishing it yet (not making THAT mistake again - two is more than plenty). Oddly enough, that new one doesn't cause that allergy. You really make the characters come alive and we care about them. Well done, sir.
  3. Yep, I noticed. Chapter 18 is in progress. If I finish it today, I can send it to kbois and hopefully get it posted tomorrow or Wednesday. I'd say I'm 40-50% done.
  4. Actually 6 boys, three girls, and another boy that didn't live very long. Not to mention all the other Jacksons that were identified in comments in a previous chapter. 😁
  5. I hear that. The original Twist is only a little more than 2 months older than I am.
  6. Me too. But I think the author might have another Chubby Checker up his sleeve. Oh wait. That one doesn't have anything to do with Jackson.
  7. Bop shoo-op, a bop bop shoo-op.
  8. Thanks, looking into it now.
  9. That would be nice if the search actually worked. No matter what I search for, I get this back:
  10. It does seem that way, doesn't it?
  11. In one of my stories? Better than any favorite in the Kentucky Derby has ever had.
  12. First assumes there will be more. In this case, the assumption is correct. I see you've already chapter 15, so I feel safe saying that.
  13. Definitely happy for a while. They obviously want to let things calm down and avoid drama.
  14. Yeah, it’s an unfortunate reality. There has to occasionally be some drama. Otherwise it’s a boring story.
  15. Sorry for that. But I’ve been there. First wife passed away young. You just go through the motions, pretty much on autopilot, taking help where you can.
  16. Thanks for reading and commenting. It is much appreciated.
  17. That would be about the most expected reaction.
  18. Possibly telling friends at some point in the future that he has two dads wouldn’t be easy either. But that’s beyond anything we’ve gotten to so far.
  19. A good concern and a good idea. But inertia kind of sets in. It’s working for now, let’s not rock the boat.
  20. Hmmmm, I wonder. Lucky for you, you get to find out soon, doing a binge read.
  21. Or Ron White: You can’t fix stupid.
  22. It’s definitely a touchy situation. What to do, indeed.
  23. I did. See above.
  24. You were not alone. I did an alternate ending that more people were happy with. Sorry to disappoint.
  25. I think you’ll be OK with the results of the hearing. The why behind those results, nit so much. Tim’s not really all that bad, all bark, no bite.
