    Yeah, most of the originals have died. The inspiration for the story happened late 80’s or early 90’s. 3 Dog Night, the dance troupe, and the attraction to a dancer were real. The rest of it, not so much. I still have one of the songs they used on my playlist.

    I remember the conference vividly. I was never a big Three Dog Night fan although I do enjoy many of their songs; mostly because my parents liked their music a lot.     The story was inspired by Prompt #211: You’re a closeted gay man at a company gathering, for example, a conference of some kind. The company brought in a unique kind of entertainment and you’re attracted to one of the entertainers. With their costumes, you can’t tell if they’re male or female. You decide, what the heck, and ask them to meet you later. They’re not what you expected.

    I'd say more that partly. If Fred wasn't a lawyer at all, that opportunity would have never materialized. True about Dante. Dante may have some of the same opinions as Silas, but obviously seeing what happened to Silas, he's keeping them to himself.

    That would present a problem, wouldn't it? Damn. Three locks on my manuscripts still can't keep you all away from future chapters. Not sure about the relationship between the two. Perhaps they're in the same he-man gay boy haters club.

    Great summary. Why? Just an odd coincidence. Not a huge spoiler so I'll mention it. It will come early in chapter 10. Lyons, et al. also take on pro-bono cases from the public defender's office. Mo just happened to be one of them. Like you said, amazing luck.

    I may have answered some of the questions the same, but, no it isn't me. I've always avoided the show Seinfeld like the plague, never liked it, never will. Jerry isn't as bad as say Jim Carrey or Steve Carrell are to me, but I'm still not going to watch anything with him in it on purpose.
