Confrontation and Escape
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Confrontation and Escape
Ah, ye of little faith. You've read enough of my work to know that the homophobes don't get away with anything. -
Things were tough for a while. I was working all the time, but I was still lonely. The only bright points were my visits with Dominic. He started getting used to just seeing me every other Saturday. As time went on, I too, was getting more used to my routine. I even tried to pick up overtime on the opposite Saturdays. It wasn't enough. I wanted companionship, but there was no time. I'd learned my lesson with the adult video stores, I hadn't gone back, even though, technically, there was nothing

Saturday June 24 - Back with Jeremy Damn, am I tired. I don't think I slept at all last night. Between dealing with my anger about Derek and contemplating my future, who could sleep? I have a little more than three weeks of freedom unless Hamilton can work some magic. I grab some breakfast, since it's almost 10:00. Damn, the garbage is full, better take that down so Mrs. Linden doesn't have a cow. Maybe if I lie in bed some more and think about something else, I can nod off. Unfortuna

A birthday, a Flash in the Pan, and College Maybe?
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in A birthday, a Flash in the Pan, and College Maybe?
Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Fortunately, that's been the most common opinion. It keeps me going. -
I wonder who gets (figuratively) screwed in the next chapter.

After that first tryst with Zach, we started seeing each other outside of work pretty much once a week. Every so often he or I would have enough going on that we'd have to skip. It took a couple more months before it got sexual again. Otherwise, when we'd separate for the night, we'd share a kiss, but that was the extent of it. As I'd indicated before, we became friends, so we were comfortable with each other. We didn't always go out for drinks, my budget wouldn't allow that, so sometimes we jus

The Berger/Burlington Transition Continues
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in The Berger/Burlington Transition Continues
Stealing the manuscript seems to run rampant in this community. Well, tough. The next chapter is just about complete. Kidnapping it stays. Not to mention unlawful imprisonment. -
Friday June 23 - With Jeremy for a bit I couldn't sleep once the sun came up, so an early breakfast it is. I'm just sitting down to eat when the phone rings. It's kind of early for Derek on a day off, not quite 8:30. "Hello?" "Bryson Burlington?" "Who is this?" "It's Boyd Hamilton." "Oh, hello Mr. Hamilton. This is Bryson. I should have figured it was you, nobody else calls me that yet. What can I do for you?" "This is difficult, especially after the initial in

The Wedding, Honeymoon, and Trouble Starts

Nope, totally from my imagination. I could write about a marriage ending with a death, but not divorce. And the toothbrush? You'd need it if you expected to give your wife more than just a peck on the lips when you got home.- 12 comments

Lawyers, Apartments, and Trucks, Oh My
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Lawyers, Apartments, and Trucks, Oh My
Are you taking lessons from @weinerdog? Predicting what's going to happen in the next chapter? I'm not going to provide any spoilers, but I will say some of that might happen. -
You're back? I hope you enjoyed them. They got me thinking what might happen to drive that stake deep enough to break up the marriage. I know the generic answer is obvious. This is one possible, more specific, example. And of course, it continues the man's story. It was a small wedding. Neither she nor I had a lot of friends or a large family. I have one brother, she has one sister. None of our parents had any close siblings. Close being both geographically and emotionally. We were both wha

The Wedding, Honeymoon, and Trouble Starts
Lee Wilson posted new chapter in Before And After the Divorce
"Geez, I'm so nervous Dave." My much older brother looked at me with an expression on his face that was easily interpreted as 'no shit?' "I can't understand why. You're 19, have a baby on the way, and can barely pay your own bills." "Yeah, but when my probationary period is over, I'll get a decent raise." "Yeah, you always had a stick with it and do your best attitude. You should be alright if you add a part-time job to the mix." I've always been good with my hands. Yeah- 12 comments

Lots of stories address the gay man after the divorce. But what might happen to cause the divorce. Dylan Pastore found out. Was it the alcohol, or is he truly gay?

Lawyers, Apartments, and Trucks, Oh My
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Lawyers, Apartments, and Trucks, Oh My
Yeah, fat chance on the dad paying. I suppose if someone felt their life was threatened, a DA might take that into account. Depending on the amount of theft the fraud led to, it may or may not be something that can be overlooked, or like in this case, getting a minimum penalty. -
They're born with them permanently attached.

Friday June 16 - Dinner at Derek's After a shopping trip and dropping the food off at Jeremy's, it was time to head to my house for dinner. I warned Jeremy that he'll probably get hit by a wave of questions. He said he was ready. We'll see. We talked about the potential job change and name change and decided to not bring those up for now. We need to consult a lawyer first. "Hi Derek, and welcome, Jeremy." "Thanks, Mrs. A." "The meat loaf has a little while to go yet, so why d

You'd look pretty silly in the swimming pool in a suit. 😁

No, technical things stick, so no issues at work. It’s really weird what gets saved in long term memory and what doesn’t. Books, not usually. Songs, quite often.

You almost made me go back and look for contractions the shaman used. Then when I saw the quiz, all thoughts of review went out the window. My reading comprehension is so bad, I’d definitely fail the quiz. Although it does have one benefit, I can read the same book multiple times and not necessarily know what’s going to happen. Anyway, another good chapter. Now I’m like the rest of your readers and must wait for the next installment.😢
