Well, he was either getting blown or buying drugs. Maybe addict was a bit harsh, drug user then. Probably steroids (Prednisone?) in his case. Hehe -

It would prepare him for a career if he's that good. You can get traded to another team without your consent. Trades between rivals aren't all that common, but it happens. If he gets through it now, it'll be easier for him later. Hell, even in a "real job," staying where you're at isn't guaranteed.

It doesn’t happen often, but I’ve hit a wall on this one. Writer’s block has hit. I’m going to put this one on hold for a bit while I hit “Angel Keeps A Secret” again. Suing someone doesn't necessarily mean they pay. Some lawsuits fail to find fault. I haven't decided their fates yet, but I don't think they'll get off scot-free. Younger brother, as indicated in their first meeting in part one. Clark is Don's brother.
