It would prepare him for a career if he's that good. You can get traded to another team without your consent. Trades between rivals aren't all that common, but it happens. If he gets through it now, it'll be easier for him later. Hell, even in a "real job," staying where you're at isn't guaranteed.
It doesn’t happen often, but I’ve hit a wall on this one. Writer’s block has hit. I’m going to put this one on hold for a bit while I hit “Angel Keeps A Secret” again. Suing someone doesn't necessarily mean they pay. Some lawsuits fail to find fault.

Sometimes it’s not one’s whole life, just the piece after their true realization occurs. Hell, back in the ‘70s I had a crush on one of the Bay City Rollers. There were other hints over the years, too. But until relatively recently (wrt the dinosaurs), I really thought I was straight. I lived that life for over 40 years before I could finally admit to myself what I really am.

Stephen gave Michael a call shortly after breakfast to see if it was alright to come over. Michael indicated it was.
"Are you crazy? Of course."
