    Back from holiday! The temperature and humidity were so high in Alanya that my brain couldn’t function for seven days. 😄 Anyway, here I am, and what do I see… I was almost 100% sure that @Mark Arbour had written The Ledger - and now I see he didn’t participate at all!!! And second, I could have sworn (and lost the bet!) that @Jason Rimbaud was lying about not participating this year… 😄 So… I’ll have to make a new list!!! 🤪

    His identity is not secret any more, and it happened in Chapter Four... That was a little surprise for me, as I was expecting it to be a main issue for some time... Nevertheless, I'm glad the truth is out, and that the story isn't about Morgan lying, but Morgan finding refuge and a home. Btw, I'm on holiday - greetings from Alanya, Turkey! I bet there'll be over hundred notifications tomorrow morning! 😜

    Beautiful chapter. I'm always astonished by how consistent you are in describing the era - not just in the language, but also in the discoveries they make about their bodies, male desire, and gay sex. These are things they couldn't simply read about or even talk about openly...

    Wow, the truth is out and, I have to agree with the others... Together with father's Parkinson's disease, it's just too much on the shoulders of two 16-year-old boys. It's going to be a tough fight, but when the battle is heavy, victory is sweeter...and I expect nothing but victory for our boys!

    Gym at 4am, I think I would die! 😁 It's amazing how muscular and hot Matt's encounters are... Workaut was the flirting but after that..."We have 20 minutes, let's do it." Straight to the point... Ok, maybe not so straight. I'd like to see Caleb in action too... you know the saying: apple doesn't fall far from tree! 😉

    Nerdly amazing! Btw, I’m aware that dyslexia can sometimes be discovered quite late. We didn’t recognize it in our daughter until the end of primary school. She struggled so much at school, but now she’s in art school and absolutely flourishing.

    Beautiful and heartbreaking - a story that teaches us an important lesson: we should never be afraid to say “I love you” and tell the people who matter how we truly feel. @Jason Rimbaud has created a true little literary masterpiece. Beautifully written, deeply moving, and unforgettable. Bravo! ❤️

    I got the impression that almost everyone displayed a touch of snobbery in this chapter - whether it was about music or Neil's woodworking. Kudos to Alex's mother; she comes across as the most supportive and down-to-earth person of the lot.

    There's a lot of symbolism here. The false Socrates is buried, while the real one rises and returns to his rightful place. Veridien itself is much like the replica statues scattered throughout the school - an attractive but ultimately false imitation, while the originals remain hidden away. In the same way, almost everyone condemned to live within that institution wears a mask. Lawrence's challenge will be to look beneath those masks and discover what is real.

    Oh my... teenagers and hormones... Mark definitely made a mess of everything - his life, his relationship with Sandro, and the team. At the same time, Sandro didn't exactly make it easy for him to make amends. Well, here's hoping "The Annual Miller Twins' Extravaganza" will cool the heads of those two... and warm some hearts! 😁
