Atreus the Magnificent...too bad Ashot...or even Ishan couldn't see it. As for the Tomas, I'm looking forward to seeing who will heal his broken heart. Nevertheless, he should be aware of one thing... no matter his feelings, he didn't "do it" for Atreus - ultimately, he "did it" for himself.

He can be whatever he wants... but does he realize he lost his son? Lothar failed as a parent, and that's unforgivable.

Darien was never truly a father to a little boy. By the time he returned from the Crusades, Atreus was already a teenager. With Rico, Darien is making up for the time he lost and embracing the chance to be the father he never got to be for Atreus.

As long as Taggert is doing regular ranch work - handling cattle, fixing fences, making repairs - he doesn't feel conflicted about his loyalty. Going into business, negotiations, or strategy is a different matter. No matter what happened to Taggert on Yoder's ranch, it's still home - the place where he grew up. The question is whether he's going to interfere or stay out of it.

As long as it was boys being horny teenagers and experimenting in EVERY position and, on the other hand politics and all the crazy combinations...it didn't sound so desperate... But now that feelings are involved, everything has become much more complicated. You really surprised me with Ser Tomas. I never expected him to fall for Atreus, but then again, I probably shouldn't have - @Topher Lydon - you're a master of creating overcomplicated relationships and then making them even more complicated! 😁 Which brings me to the point where I'm now more concerned about broken hearts than broken heads or the witch's zealots in this story.

This sounds like it's going to be the most explosive polyamory in history. Darien, Wylan, and Ishan are pure vanilla by comparison (even though there were two mages involved there, and only one here). 😁

I understand that Richard's father has to secure his borders, but his plan is hilarious. 😄 Nevertheless, ever since they met, I think a genuine friendship and bond have been growing between Darien and the Lord of Bellême. Like father, like son... times two! 😁
