This is so beautiful chapter, heartbreaking and ... simply wonderful! I wept till the end ... I'm trying to find words, write something smart but, @CasualWanderer82 you left me speechless. I feel that anything I write would be a blasphemy to the beauty of your words. -
Information that you have a child you knew nothing about is overwhelming enough. Knowing that you have twins is ... OMG, but information that they are victims of domestic violence ... no words for that!

A little bit by the help of D's advice, a little bit by his own cleverness, Matt has put himself in survival mode! He is too week and too new in a slave toy boy role, to fight back. He knows that for any rebellion in this moment he might be punished with torture and molesting. So, he is patiently waiting his moment. He will have to observe, follow the patterns, learn and search for criminals' weaknesses ... Andrew fighting PTSD might be just the beginning of his problems, but Matt is already living in a hell. This has made me think more about Matt, his past, his life before. How, in Earth, did he end up as victim of human trafficking? Did somebody sell him, or betray him? Is somebody looking for him (we know about mother, anybody else ...)?

Another great chapter that relieves a little bit more about Kai's past. Each letter makes them closer and more connected. Interesting, but they already communicate as some sort of partners. I like the plans of the house and lake. Although I'm not an architect, I have found myself making my own rearrangement. I hope you don't mind @Andr0gene ... I would have change dining room and study. It is logical for dining room to be connected to kitchen (not food to go through hallway) and study should be part of living room with possibility to close or open completely with the rest of the space. I know, I know ... annoying readers, first they want to change the story, now they even want to change my house plans! 😜

Peter is ignorant and clueless. He is raised and live in his own world of 'strong' men - men don't show emotions, they don't cry, they don't show weaknesses, men don't ask for help, they never admit they are in pain (physical or mental) ... Men must be strong, athletic ... 'continue family name' ... and everyone should be bloody alpha!!! I know how difficult is to be raised in 'macho-centric' society, whole life trying to achieve 'Marvel hero' standards!

What makes this story amazing and unique is author's approach to both characters. Without justifying wrong actions, he gives us both sides perspective, showing us that nothing is strictly black or white - there are lot of shadows of gray, especially in this broken relationship. But that's not all, author goes one step further. Characters learn from their mistakes. They don't end up miserable, disappointed, depressive. The life gives them new opportunities and they embrace them armed with experience and awareness what have to change about themselves.

I'm so glad this story continues! So, mum wants to meet Jeha's companion. Dr Axel might be taking the boyfriend role sooner than expected. I'm worried about night club. It can go both ways - being drugged by Moon, or unexpected encounter with Jeha ... what will be?

Mr. Black is evil and dangerous person with no conscience. What worries me, after this chapter, is not only the danger Andrew has put himself in, but morality and ethics of his actions. Even as a silent observes of such criminal activity makes him involved. What is the personal price he is ready to pay to finish the book? I don't know ...

Beautiful chapter. Kai can already see himself at home, beside Adam and Arya! The moment they finally meet is going to be more a reunion than first encounter. Btw, Adam might not be a Bridgerton style of writer, but I cannot resist picturing him as Jonathan Bailey! 😍
