Being 'less gay' I usually connect with the hypocritical attitude of the world around me. After explicit hate, thing I despise the most is hypocrisy. What I usually hear people say about Pride - "I have nothing against gays as long as they do, what they do, in their own house! Why do they want to show it to the world...etc. etc.". So, to make parallel with the story, as long as Todd is officially acting straight, marry a woman, have children, play 'perfect American family' (whatever that means) ...he can f*ck whoever he wants in secrecy of his room!

They lived together!!!!?????!!! You see neighbor almost every day, or lady at the grocery store...and you hear something happened to them...and you feel sorry for them. You live with the guy and just 'put him in the garbage'..! Reading the chapter and the comments, I'm really wandering is Alex just stupid or what..? Like, the complete idiotic plan has been made in some panic. Could it be possible that in the boat were some other substances beside alcohol...?

Road to man's heart leads through bandages! Oh Anthony - the worst peacemaker in history! If he was working for UN, in the middle of massacre he would have persuading participants not to hurt each other's feelings! Instead of talking to father - he comes to persuade Todd... To do what? To say what papa dearest wants to hear - 'I'll be less gay', 'I'll find a girl', 'I'll work in your company'... accepting to live in lies and denial. And all that emotional blackmail - 'oh, we lost mother, do you want to lose father as well'?!?!?! Really?!? Seems that Todd is the only one in this family who accepted that mother is dead and moved on. Both Anthony and their father are in some sort of denial, they have seriously to deal with the ghosts of the past.

Oh, who am I to comment your 'diet' my friend! I know it's not disco, but here is a charming song that reminds me of Dylan's upcoming challenge 👇

Chapter 15: Carter is in deep waters. Will he survive?
Cane23 commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 15: Carter is in deep waters. Will he survive?
Yes, one part of Carter's unfortunate life might be continually running from Lopez but there is the other part too - facing Jeremy's mood swings, anger outbursts, loves me/loves me not mind changes, easy jumping to conclusions...it is tiring, frustrating and Carter has to set boundaries somewhere in order to stay sane! -
Bravo Todd, straight forward! 🎯 Easy - stop overthinking and go for it! 🙂

Chapter 15: Carter is in deep waters. Will he survive?
Cane23 commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 15: Carter is in deep waters. Will he survive?
What a melodramatic, self-centered bitch! Btw, Jeremy just wants to help Carter, not marry him (yet 😉)! Well, this chapter shows how conflicted emotions and mess in head can be easily cleared when the person who is the trigger for such emotions is in trouble. Faced with possibility to see Carter being hurt, or even loose him, Jeremy gets in action! Let's see what will happen... -
Alex doesn't look like a guy with some mastermind plan to gain some financial benefit out of Logan's missing. He was probably drunk for a very long time to even notice Logan is not on a board and then, as coward as he is, he was probably afraid to make a report, having to explain everything, maybe even being suspect. He is obviously self-centered, narcissist...which brings us to Logan again. What is he doing with such guy, is it his low self-respect or habit...? Anyway, I'd like to know more about Logan's background - we know he is not rich; he has parents (I suppose concerned about him), so, it would be nice to know who Logan is.
-
I thought he might be pushed as well! Why not, if nobody is looking for him... Easy way for Alex to get rid of 'burden'!

It's my impression of the chapter too. Very, very insecure Todd. He's like ugly duckling waiting to become swan!

Back to the 122 Club: Going out with a bang?
Cane23 commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Back to the 122 Club: Going out with a bang?
Heyward is preparing to slowly sail away! The question is what kind of mess is he leaving behind? Of course, now that he's leaving, why not to move frontiers a little bit more... From skinny-dipping in the pool, through Lawrence party, we have come to the 'full monty' The Last Party! What is expected of the participants of the party, what kind of communion with host?! Sometimes, I think Vaughan and Dante give too much significance to Francis. He is not so powerful, so is it caution or curiosity leading them?- 11 comments

Poor Anthony, junk both enters and exits his mouth! Let's hope he'll find somebody as Jenny to polish him as much as possible.
-
There is the famous quote from 'Jerry Maguire' movie - You had me at hallo! Well Dylan had me the moment he helped girl with Diabetes at the party. Till now, the best scene in the story for me. That's the Dylan I like and whatever personal mistakes he makes, he is going to be Dylan the brave healer for me!

Oh guys, I hate to tell you this but...I TOLD YOU SO! Maybe even I was little too harsh analyzing Anthony...

Well, I do tend to see a good in people firstly, but with Anthony, as there is no his POV, I've made my opinion based on what he said, what other characters said about him and some of body language described by @Superpride. I don't see him as very bright man, but not a bad guy too. He is like a cliche model of high school football jock. Not much integrity, trying to please his father - loving his brother but not ready to confront his father. Maybe even oblivious for Todd's real feelings, which means he is self-centered but not evil. There is no malice in his actions towards Todd. As for the 'fluid truth', absolutely - he is not a guy of many principles, more like somebody who is doing things to be liked by others (wrongly of course, because beside his father, it doesn't look like his strategy works with others). Unfortunately, this makes him part of the largest group of human population! Of course, it all might be cover, he might be evil disguised in 'typical neighborhood guy' or total opposite 'saint playing stupid'...but that's up to @Superpride to reveal in time...

Duh, I understand what you are saying. I found myself so frustrated by Dylan occasionally, that only way to continue reading this story was to accept things and characters as they are. Dylan is not victim anymore, but he is not hero either. He has to survive this high school fighting, not only outside enemies, but the enemies inside himself too. Interesting, we were all commenting how stupid and inappropriate is Dylan having sex with Liam, but what about cheating. Am I wrong or Dylan is still, officially with Jake?! Jake lied - ok, break up with him and have sex with others. Btw, Dylan is feeling conflicted emotions regarding sex with Liam, but not very much remorse for cheating Jake.
-
We've spoke how Liam needs to see therapist regarding his anger issue and violent outbursts...BUT Dylan might do the same. He has mess in his head, so many conflicted emotions that some professional help might be needed to put him together! From very insecure boy, he has come to phase of overly secure boy - even reckless! And I'm not talking only about sex, Liam's dick size is the least of his problems now!

I don't think problem is acceptance. Anthony seems like one of those guys that everything does wrongly. Remember his advances toward Vanessa - complete disaster! As I've written in comment on previous chapter about 'good intentions'. He probably thought he will 'save' younger brother suffering from unrequited feelings (assuming Barrett is 100% straight).
-
'The truth will set you free'! So, now that Todd knows, and now that Barrett knows...where do they go from this point? There is mutual attraction, even crush...we hope there is going to be something more. Of course, there is question what reaction of Todd's family will be, especially father!

I understand all negative comments about Dylan and his behavior. When I remember my own comments, before @Avogadro1001 has made a posting pause, I was so angry about Dylan's lust and Liam's past and present behavior. I've even suggested for this toxic high school to be burnt down with most of the evil students in it. Nevertheless, this is not story of ethics, this is story of surviving. Dylan is not the same person he was at the beginning of the story. He is not insecure victim - if we use neighbor's dog as metaphor for Liam, then Dylan has the lashes this time. If he were in some sub/victim/dependent mode, then I would have been furious. This way, I think he has some chance to get out of this hell. There is going to be some drama, there are going to be casualties, there will be price to pay, but I strongly believe that Dylan is going to survive. I'm not sure about others... Honestly, I would have never made Dylan's choices, alas, I'm middle-aged man, not a horny teenager.
-
Who knows, maybe Dylan has another idea - to cut Liam's manhood for a few inches!
-
WOW...very, very HOT! I thought I will be pissed at Dylan when it happens but, actually, I've been enjoying this chapter very much! Forbidden fruit - how to resist it?! 😋 Hahaha, who's in charge here - Liam gave Dylan rim job, blowjob...and didn't fuck! He's been properly warned about possibility to be hurt, so...Liam, it's your own risk. It almost makes me want to beg Dylan to give him ass...or Dylan has a plan to show him how to do it first! 😉
