Oh, more drama...I like it! 😁
-
Then it wouldn't be homicide but self-defense! The point is in the word "bigger' - both in size and ego! 😉
-
Every character is haunted by his past which makes them jump into conclusions and act recklessly. Unlike my friend @Summerabbacat, I don't think it's Channing's ego causing trouble. He witnessed the death of close friend; he listened Todd's drunken rumbling about Barrett's alleged homophobia, so, all he wanted to do is to protect his friend. But as it is well known - path to hell is paved with good intentions! Lot of drama out of pure presumptions - some honest talk will bring relief to everybody!

'Bereaved family' - where were all those mourning people while Ollie lived in hell?! They say human stupidity is endless...well, human hypocrisy is not far away from it! Aunt Margaret is nice addition to the gallery of characters. It will be good for Ollie to have some 'mother figure' in his life. What a cliff. This sentence could be interpreted both as a threat and as a gratitude! What is it, tell me @Paladin, I'll keep it a secret! 😉

Just came back from holiday at Lefkada, reading your blog and thinking how our Aussies friends have Christmas at summer!
-
I have the wining last words: "Liam has the bigger...(so I've heard)"!
-
That depends on what head he is thinking with at the moment!
-
No, I don't think he said that. More like - 'Look at Liam, he's so hot, I'd like him to f*ck me! Are you for threesome (or open relationship)'?! 😜
-
Todd and Barett are starting over, like getting know each other all over again. Actually, this is for the first time in their lives that they are communicating. In the past, Todd was 'just' Barett's best friend baby brother and Barett was 'just' older brother's best friend and a little crush for some time. Like very much how this story is developing, I'm rooting for their relationship!

Oh, we've analyzed the motives for Liam's violent behavior at the beginning of the story so much...and there's still no answer 'why'! All these rich guys are asses, used to get all they want and not to get NO as an answer! But violence is unexplainable, unacceptable and unforgivable. I would like to believe in miracle changing in characters...but I don't see it happen in this story. Liam continue saying 'I'm sorry', even Dylan is tired of it...but real questions are - is he aware what he did, why he did it and is he going to repeat it? As I've said, I don't believe in some miracle changes in Liam, but I would like to see him learn something, at least in a way he treats people. If anyone can help him about that is Dylan... Regarding Jake, Dylan should find the easiest way out of it, asap!

Aww, nice and tender!

Absolutely agree. Jeff and Elena are, till now, only 'normal' persons! All the others are on the edge (even a bit over the edge) of sanity. But, than again, it's @vanalas' story! 😁 I only hope this is not just Book 1 of the story so we have to wait months for book 2, @vanalas has those ideas occasionally!

Kettle rules! Microwave?!? Really?!? 😱
-
Dylan's feelings are very much conflicted. Is it only hate, I don't know but, after what he's been gone through, it's good he is normal at all. At this moment, Liam and Jake looks very much alike! Wouldn't surprise me if it occurs that Dan was Jake's Dylan - only Dylan had more luck to survive Liam's torture (or that roles were reversed - Jeke hitted on Dan and Dan didn't reciprocate).
-
Dylan is, actually, very smart guy His knowledge of medicine, chemistry and some detective skills helped him find holes in the story immediatelly. His only weakness is Liam. How is he going to overcome it?!
-
Shh! 🤫 I thought you are one of SA! 😁

Bravo guys!!! @kbois milady, marvelous as always!

Poor, poor Tod! Seems that all Barrett is homophobic bigot has came from 'supportive' and 'concerned' brother Anthony! Father is in one of those - It's just a phase, he just need to find adeqate woman - denial mode! Again, Todd is so talented and, untill he succeed in art, I understand his aim to be independent, even working for a small wage. His activism might cost him a job, but on long turn might bring him fame! Meeting Vanessa is the brightest moment of the chapter. Never know where support can come from!

While Dylan is sitting under the tree singing Gloria Gaynor's I will survive!
-
Interesting, Barett and Todd have totally opposite views of past! Baret remembers Todd as shy boy and Todd remembers Barett as homophobic. Could it be that closeted Barett has made some joke or comment once, something he doesn't even remember; but that hurt Todd?! Todd has talents in art and singing, it would be great if he becomes successful in things he likes!

Sorry, MOUTH or MOUNT?! 🤔
-
Seems that Carter is victim of Murphy's law! - Anything that could go wrong, went wrong. How did drinking with Jeremy went so wrong? Another enemy comming out of jail! Aunt...what's wrong with her, like nobody has right to make a mistake?!? Is she a saint...or, she is hidding something about Carter's past too?!
