I want to thank all you guys for following, reading, responding and especially for commenting. @Cane23 and @Summerabbacat, I honestly appreciate the effort and thought you have put into commenting on the behaviour of the characters in this story. You will learn more about Andre, Chris, Michael and Jamie very soon. I love all the comments that are made and recognize that my characters, like me, are not perfect and can behave better.

Sunday morning we both slept in so by the time we stirred it was late morning. As usual we were as close together as possible. Relaxed, I wriggled against his warm naked body. He asked. “Do I have to be worried?” I was still only half awake and mumbled. “I don’t know. What do you have to be worried about?” “You and Michael.” Still only half awake I replied, “No, you don’t have to be worried about me and Michael.” “Does that go for Jamie as well?” That brought me wide awa

One of the most appealing aspects of this story is that it abandons most of the usual concepts and conventions surrounding vampires. In this world there is an interaction between vampires and humans where they have co-existed in private for centuries without the horror we have come to expect with this genre. This interaction is exemplified in the strengthening relationship between Greg and his friends (both human and vampire) who all love and support each other. While this portrayal of vampires is refreshingly different, the real gem is the gently revealed storyline with interesting twists and turns (along with often unnecessary cliffhangers) that maintain the reader’s interest. And another thing. This is not a story where you can drop into it and expect to “catch up” with the narrative. To fully understand and appreciate it, you have to, just like in the song Do-Re-Mi, start at the very beginning. That means going back to Books 1 and 2.

OK @Cane23, @Summerabbacat, @jaysalmn and @drsawzall I can see all your points. I will say don't be too ready to rush to judgment. For example who said A and J were in the room for an "inordinate amount" of time or even an extended amount of time? Remember the reason A and C didn't date sooner was because of Chris and in his words "I was wary of rushing into a relationship". Having decided he wants the relationship he immediately wants Andre to live with him. It that fair? Their love for each other is strong but they both have relationship issues which have to be worked through. I love that so you are becoming so involved with the story and the characters that you are urged to comment. Please keep commenting. I appreciate all the comments and responses. Thanks.

I'm not sure about Lachlan @Summerabbacat, but Beau's is pretty good when he's on the job. LOL

Wow @Cane23. Chris didn't know Mick (now Michael) was going to be at the party, hence his surprise. Is Jamie really Andre's ex? Following this party we start to learn some backstories. I hope you keep reading to find out what happens and please keep commenting.

Sunday began in a way that I was readily embracing and wanted to continue. I was spooning Andre, totally naked together. I really loved Brian being, or trying to be, protective of Jenny, especially considering who is the more experienced and powerful of the two of them. Just shows what love does to us!

I thought it was obvious, just not something that needed to be specifically commented on. I seem to be one of the few who hasn't read the original story. I don't think I need to as I am thoroughly enjoying this wonderfully written and engaging version.

Great comment @Cane23. You are right that Beau is about Beau discovering himself. When I first thought about a sequel, I was reluctant because a story of "and they lived happily ever after" is nice but not all that interesting. However, Andre and Chris told me that life is not always that smooth.

I had just finished lunch on the second Saturday in January when Beau arrived unexpectedly. I greeted him, “Hi, what’s up?” Nothing It’s just the baby shower. All those women talking babies and loading Skye up with baby clothes and stuff. Skye doesn’t want me there and I wouldn’t be able to cope anyway.” I laughed. “Have you had lunch? Would you like a coffee?” “I grabbed a burger on the way over here. I’d actually like a shower.” “Am I missing something? It seems every time

Wow, expectations for an author to live up to. @Cane23 "grand Finale" and @Ivor Slipper "a surprise or two'. Yes just one more chapter to find out.

@Cane23 Thanks for your comment. I love it. If you are waiting for "the good things" then things will have to speed up. There's only one more chapter. Don't forget that the story is called "Beau".
