    Chapter 22

Pleased you enjoyed it @PaulH. It's time to move the narrative from Jordan and Cameron to Daniel and Kevin.

    Chapter 2

I have discovered I like the short story format, especially with some humour. You're encouraging me to have a go at writing some more.🤞

    Chapter 2

I passed your request on to Aaron. He replied that he's had so many requests he doesn't have enough time to respond to all of them now, but maybe in the future.

    Chapter 1

I'm pleased that this chapter caught and held you attention. I admit the idea of a time traveler suddenly appearing in the passenger seat on a rural road appealed to me. I love Ryan's mum.

    Chapter 2

Thanks for reading and commenting @Bill W. We don't have Denny's here in Aussie land and didn't visit one when in USA, so I'm a Dennys' virgin. The turkeys (frozen and live) were in the cargo hold, not in the kitchen stores. Rowan as Load Master, knows knows what cargo they have, but not the other crew. I'm pleased you enjoyed the story.

    Chapter 1

Ah I missed the reference. Scotty was one of the characters I loved in the original Star Trek but he was far more competent than Randy.

    Chapter 22

I know where you are coming from @Davide. I had to give a lot of thought about whether to include Adam speaking to Jordan and Joshua back in part 1. There I left it as maybe real or maybe they imagined it. Here I decided to make it more real as it marks the departure of Adam as an influence in the story. I'm pleased that you still enjoyed the story.

You, sir, are very welcome. Thanks for reading.

    Chapter 22

Yes, @VBlew we haven't finished with uncle Phil and the charges against him.

    Chapter 22

We will be back with them again. Daniel and Kevin still have challenges to face as they work towards a life together.

    Chapter 22

Yes @Lynx003, more to come after a short break. There are loose ends that need resolution.

    Chapter 22

A good point @Davide. Joshua and Daniel need to be comfortable with sex being a normal expression of love. Being able to ask questions is important in developing that comfort.

    Chapter 22

The end of this story @chris191070 but there is still more to the story. Time for Daniel and Kevin to take centre stage.

    Chapter 22

The young ones needed their time together in a combined family setting.

    Chapter 22

  16. Kevin was scrolling through the photos on his camera when Cameron moved to close his laptop. "Cam do you have a SD card reader on your laptop?" "Yeah, I do. Why?" "I thought I could share the photos we took out on the water." There was enthusiastic general approval. Kevin slipped the card into the laptop and opened it. A quick search brought up the file and he opened the first photo. Everyone's focus returned to the morning's event. He scrolled through the photos he had taken

    Chapter 13

So Garrett and Kyle are going to double date Finn and Orel. Way back in Chapter 1 we found out that Lydia wants a double date with Orel and Finn and :: ? :: as an in to having Orel as her partner at Steve and Kenny's wedding. How is Lydia likely to react to Orel being involved in a double date that doesn't include her? She's not a lady to be crossed. Even more interesting is how Orel will cope with Lydia's intentions.

    Chapter 1

To be honest @Bill W, this Aussie has never been to a Denny's so my "knowledge" was a combination of google search and imagination. But then it's in the future Denny's could have morphed into any sort of restaurant. Sorry Denny's fans, but I'm too far away for you to get to me. Hmm a Scottish accent for Randy? I think I've got enough problems with Denny's fans without riling the Scots as well.

    Chapter 12

Orel is a survivor, a survivor (as previously commented) with a touch of magic. He was a chrysalis surviving the torment of his father and Tarquin and the ineffective protection of Oliver. Having emerged he is now using those survival skills to forge his own life. A life that involves working rather than the family money. At the moment what he lacks are the skills required to survive love.
  20. Definitely $. You would notice I did not refer to Hellmark as "artistic works" either.
  21. The masterstroke of Hallmark is resonance with very large numbers of greeting card buyers.

    Chapter 12

They locked the barn but it is still there. Can the barn be a bonfire for "the gala"?

    Chapter 11

Tarquin is so real. I have met people just like him, and more of their victims. They are the foundation of domestic violence. Tarquin's fatal flaw is his arrogant belief that he will always win. Let's hope the goodies can exploit that so he doesn't see the hit coming.
  24. You mean all sound and fury signifying nothing? I know a number of world political leaders like that.

    Chapter 19

I noticed that Greg did not let Grace know about his mind-to-mind ability, which seems superior to Mercury when it comes to contacting his council and inner circle. Now has Athena been listening in and knows about Greg's abilities? I also noticed that Alex remained very quiet. Does that mean that he doesn't foresee any problems with the technology or the Coat of Arms?
