Action packed. I loved the scene at the bus station that doesn't seem to have security, although it did all happen very quickly. Brian drawing the attention of the Harvest Guard is strategically sound as it gave Alex and Julian time to escape with the formula, but has Brian sacrificed himself?

They come in a pack @RoyKing so you will have more than one to try. I agree that €4,50 sounds expensive. The standard price for a single pack in Australia is between $5.00 and $6.00 which on today's exchange rate is €2,81 to €3,37. We regard the Aussie price as expensive but fortunately they are regularly on special.

A challenging chapter navigating the realistic responses of all involved, especially Elisha. So often it is assumed that if you criticize Christian beliefs is is because you haven't read the Bible and don't know what you're talking about. My experience is that more often the critics have read more and thought more than than the bulk of accepting believers. Marcus surprises his father. A nice device; referring to Marcus' parents as his 'mother' and 'father' until they soften after Elisha's suicide attempt. Then their names are used.

An action filled chapter leading them to finding Julian. Now they have to rescue Julian from the Harvest Guard while protecting themselves from the Harvest Guard. Sounds like another action packed chapter.

An extremely powerful chapter, with so much tied up in the concept of saying "goodbye". An attempted suicide can sometimes create a positive shock in those around the teenager, unfortunately not always. I hoping there are two parents who come out of this as better loving and understanding fathers.

The boys are now on foot in the snow and still being pursued. Brian is a local who knows his way around the area, and I hope that will be enough for them to get away. Even so I don't see the Harvest Guard giving up easily.

Thanks @Lynx003. There are times when stories have to go in unexpected directions. More on the police interview and the notebook in the next chapter, and the lovers will get a chance to be together. I hope your friend is overcoming their trauma. Thank you for sharing.

The race to find Julian and the formula is on, with the Harvest Guard after Brian. Alex and his car are obvious and don't just blend into the background. Who will find whom first?

The Tim Tam takeover is gaining momentum. Yes @empath both Joshua and Daniel are gaining an extended family that is embracing and supporting them. You are right that Daniel had a longer time on his own and not opening up than Joshua. He is starting to understand that he is understood and loved.

You are right @Summerabbacat, that Daniel needs a lot of professional and family support. In this chapter he is recognizing the family support that he actually has, demonstrated by his request for and receiving hugs from his "uncles". He will receive the help he needs.

Thursday afternoon Geraldine led Jordan and three other directors into the elegant but cozy bar and to a table off to the side. Ronald, a ginger haired director glanced around the table, “The usual, and Christine what would you like to drink?” Christine indicated a white wine and the others agreed to their usual.
