  1. Silken is an antonym of yesterday's word coarse. While some people coat their discourse in coarse language.most politicians coat their discourse in silken language.
  2. What can I say @Summerabbacat! We already know you don't like her and meeting her won't change that. As to how accurate you are, you'll just have to wait until after Adelaide to find out.
  3. Jack stopped for a moment. He did have tiny claws. And his hands weren’t exactly the way he remembered them. They were kind of hairy, and hairy was the exact opposite of what Jack was, aka hairless. Was mountain goat meat known for hallucinogenic properties? He shook his head, and his hands looked normal again. His fingernails had just grown a little, and he was imagining things. Is this Jack hallucinating or is it the magic beyond the veil turning him into a wolf shifter mate for Theo?
  4. A lot in there @Philippe. Hold those thoughts. Yes there are a couple of 18th birthdays on the horizon.
  5. True, but there could be some more turmoil first.
  6. Great thoughts @Davide. Again Martin is backing himself into a corner by not being open. He does have some concerns about Natasha finding out. Justin must begin to wonder why he isn't being asked to pay rent.
  7. Martin is backing himself into a corner. The longer he takes to be open, the harder it is going to be. Rick and Simon are part of this family.
  8. Yes Natasha will continue to be a thorn. Thanks @chris191070. Yes moving in is good for Justin and will be for Benjamin and Martin.
  9. More like Cyclone Natasha.
  10. So there you have it. More background on Justin and he's moved into the house. Next Adelaide and the promise that Benjamin will move in next weekend. What could possibly go wrong?
  11. When Martin arrived home on Friday the boys were again waiting out the front for him. Again he thought he should give them some keys. They helped him with the groceries he had purchased and put them in the kitchen, however for now, eating was low on the boys' agenda. All they wanted to do was talk about moving in. "We've been talking dad and thinking about why we want to live here. And yes having sex together is one of the reasons but it's not the top one." Martin liked the fact they
  12. Years ago i had a friend who taught in a teacher training degree. He always started his first session by asking the students to think of a high school teacher they admired and write down what it was about that teacher that they admired. He collected the responses to collate, graph and use in future lessons. All sounds good, but this particular year one of his students wrote that what they admired about their high school teacher was "his knowledge of the coarse." Of course, they would!
  13. Is Natasha as sweet as sour milk or does she sour sweet milk? Hmm 🤔🤔
  14. 'Measured and kind' or considered use of understatement? Sometimes readers start disliking one of my characters and later warm to them, like with Vanessa. I will admit that I don't expect any to warm to Natasha. 😸😼
  15. Ah I have many fuzzy memories of keg parties.
  16. You are right @Daddydavek, Martin needs to reach out to his children more. Martin has taken Simon's advice too much to heart and is reluctant to disclose his changed circumstances.
  17. Natasha is very self centred.
  18. I'm amazed @Davide,I didn't know you'd met her!
  19. You're right about leadership @Cane23, but keep in mind Martin's comment on the plane about psychologists, You know we are great at helping people understand their problems and how to use coping strategies but not so good at doing the same for ourselves.
  20. My daughter installed a new kitchen and sent a family text, "I've got a blue kitchen'. My son responded, "I hope it's better soon."
  21. All very true @akascrubber, but how is it all going to work out? Lots of turmoil?
  22. Hold that thought about Natasha, @Davide. Benjamin and Justin are good for each other and living with Martin may be good for everyone.
  23. Benjamin actually has good reasons. Wrangling mum is an issue. Yes, Adelaide will be interesting.
  24. I'm sure this is the first time I've been called 'a fine upstanding gentleman' or for that matter even a 'gentleman'. I may not remember the Liquorland but I do remember that disgusting Passion Pop, commonly referred to as 'leg openers'. Fortunately, I was a beer drinker in those days.
