    Chapter 10

I also wrote a short explanatory chapter about how magic works in this world. If you didn’t notice and you’re interested, here’s the link: https://gayauthors.org/story/lupus/the-world-of-the-legend-of-the-red-star/3
  2. Franz Eastkeep, Andiol Empire Eastkeep was nothing like Franz had imagined - not at all. In his mind, Andiol's eastern center had been a majestic stone fortress, its walls reaching for the clouds beside mist-shrouded mountains. The only part of that vision that held true was the mist, which hung thick as pea soup over the ragged town. And ragged Eastkeep truly was. The houses rose no higher than two stories, and stone had only been used for the first floor - if even that. There seemed to

    Chapter 13

Well said. I don't really like Nick in this chapter either. We remember how earlier he demanded that Noah take responsibility for his actions and insisted that boyfriends should support each other in a relationship. But when Noah sends a message saying he's been feeling down, what does Nick do? He turns off his phone. Still, the chapter is once again very interesting and well written - thank you @LittleBuddhaTW
  4. Maybe😉
  5. That's true 😊 I hope this groundwork will be useful throughout the long story, since readers have so much to remember.

    Chapter 12

I was afraid that Jack's visit would be a complete disaster, but it actually seems to be going really well. This chapter was fun to read☺️ Nick could have sent a message to Noah himself. So not all the blame for the problems lies entirely with Noah.
  7. By Laftakom Greyhand The Ksingis call it the Gift, while in parts of the Southlands it is spoken of as the Force. To my ears, the term Might has the most majestic ring to it, as it carries an association with strength. Undeniably, one who wields Might can do things the weaker ones can only dream of. Or - I am being imprecise - most ordinary people do not even dare, in their sleep-bound imaginings, to crave what is everyday to those like us. Our world is beyond their reach. Prevalence

    Chapter 9

Although Krahh could carry the message, it would be impossible for her to find the expedition in the distant wilderness. She cannot locate other people in the same way she can locate Zal.

    Chapter 9

True. Unfortunately, Zal is now far from Renn and the teens.😬 In the next chapter, we'll catch up with Franz after a long time.
  10. Taihan Ift Province, the Vassal Kingdom of Afamat It was a beautiful day, as summer days in sunny Afamat usually are. The other seasons also favored the land of dozens of valleys: winters were so mild that they were hardly distinguishable from the long springs and autumns. But summer - those months of growth and flowering - was the season Taihanelik Qo-Meunoonkuu Qo-Xo'jox loved most. Afamat's summers brought back memories of her childhood under the scorching sun of Qoi-Tenqee. Most of al

    Chapter 8

I also really love stories where the main focus is a romantic relationship between two young men — full of passion and intense emotions.💘 However, GA already has a lot of great ‘boy meets boy’ stories like that, so my goal is to write something different. Maybe this story won’t gain as much popularity among readers, but I’m fine with just a few people who stick with it to the end.😊 The main pairing... hmm. How about Zal and Ragart?😅

    Chapter 10

Rough experiences you've had 😟 Hopefully Nick avoids something like that. In a way, I hope that Noah is just a mistreated teenager who doesn’t understand the consequences of his actions. And that he would develop in a better direction towards the end of the story.

    Chapter 8

@RainbowPhoenixWI Thanks for your nice and funny feedback 😄 This is indeed quite a slow-paced series. Most of the plot threads are now starting to move forward, though some are still in their early stages. As the story progresses toward the end, the plots begin to intertwine. For now, it might still feel like everything is scattered and there are too many characters. But everything has its purpose in the overall storyline — or at least I've tried to write it that way. @Seraph28 Thanks! 😊There are certainly plenty of villains in this story — some of their plans connect directly to our heroes, others in ways that are less straightforward.😶

    Chapter 10

This was a really good chapter. Noah seemed more believable here than in the previous two chapters, where I thought he was a bit too skilled at manipulation for a 14-year-old boy. In any case, the story is really interesting, and I’m looking forward to the next chapter.😊
  15. Lupus

    Chapter 8

Not quite. At least for now, Rezak is trying to cooperate with the Republicans, in pursuit of his own larger goals.
  16. Elyssa Dimalos, Andiol Empire The scenery peeking through the carriage window didn't please Elyssa at all, and she briskly pulled the curtain back across the glass. They had been driven to a region so bleak it dampened her spirits, making her once again question the wisdom of the entire mission. The buildings in these blocks were ugly, multi-storied structures, unpleasantly crammed together. Horse manure stained the streets in hefty clumps, and the stench from manufactories couldn't
  17. Lupus

    Chapter 7

I could always aim for the record of the slowest-moving romance in GA history.😀
  18. Lupus

    Chapter 7

Thank you for the encouragement.🥰 I believe the story improves as the plot continues to develop. Renn truly deserves some kind of punishment, but let’s see what fate has in store for him.
  19. Lupus

    Chapter 7

You should be careful, Renn is a shade commando😁 This story is at minimum five books long. It can be brought to a close at that point, with the plot reaching its conclusion. However, it’s also possible to continue the story with books six and seven. I do know how it would progress from there, and I’ve already written the sixth book. The continuation likely depends on whether there are still readers after book five — and whether I can find time to finish writing book seven.😊
  20. Lupus

    Chapter 7

@Seraph28 Thanks for your comment! I completely understand how frustrating it can be when nothing seems to move forward in a positive direction. But the story isn’t even halfway through yet, so I have to let the plotlines unfold gradually — otherwise everything would be revealed too soon.🤗 This third book truly lives up to its title: the villains are definitely getting the upper hand over the heroes. As for Zdain and Josel’s relationship... that’s something I can’t reveal.😉
  21. Renn What had happened at Castle Cache had been a good start. The Blue Moon had been crushed and would probably not recover from the blow it had received. This meant that a dwindling number of people in the Inhabited World had the strength to stand up to the Darkness. Raff Gennebeck, the eldest of the council, had met a painful end, but Renn did not mourn his dead uncle. Anyone who dared oppose the Darkness deserved the same fate. Hopefully, the Shadow Cross would take care of the rema
  22. Lupus

    Chapter 5

This part really sparks a lot of thoughts. So far, there haven't been any signs that Noah is anything other than a good guy. If he were truly a jerk, it's unlikely that Mark and Emery would be his friends, since they're clearly kind-hearted people. Could Jack have said that just because he's jealous? On the other hand, Jack might know things about Noah that we don't yet know.
  23. Lupus

    Chapter 2

This story is off to a very intriguing start. I like Nick’s personality, and Jack is fascinating in a mysterious way. I think I’ll keep reading 🫡
  24. Lupus

    Chapter 6

@drsawzall Yes, there are a lot of villains — far too many from the heroes' perspective. But maybe at some point these bad guys will start to dwindle.😉
  25. Doptus Province of Five Hills, Andiol Empire The farm was located some distance outside of Five Hills. It was a remote place, where one could arrive without attracting attention. This was especially true on the evening in question, when a drizzling rain kept most curious onlookers indoors. The muddy road ended in a yard surrounded by buildings. A small, red-haired man leapt down from his horse and cast a scrutinizing glance around. He didn't want to arrive too early, for the meeting
