I think Mr. Rumpelstiltskin Knapp was talking about his and Bardeara's poor behaviour while they were new members. As you can tell from just his few posts, he's a bit saucy. Like a young puppy that gets into trouble a lot, sometimes he needs a good bop on the snout with a rolled up newspaper. Snow Dog had a similar experience, but as you can see from the later of his 800+ posts, he's mellowed a bit. So Phil, welcome to GayAuthors!! No matter how interesting or not interesting your story is, we're glad your here. Just don't follow in the footsteps of Mr. Knapp and Bardeara and make crazy suggestions like 'Hmmm, Dom should have let Rory's plane that he first took to Arizona crash so that the story would have been shorter' or 'Maybe Owen should have died in Chapter 1 when his dad beat him up, that would have made the story more exciting '. I think that's probably a good policy for you. For myself, I'll take whatever I can get and appreciate what our authors have done for us. Another thought, if authors were expected to only post stories that they were guaranteed to complete, then there would be no incentive for them to post any chapters until they had them all done. In the case of DOR, we would not even have Chapters 1-26. Last I heard, Dan still plans on continuing DOR and I will wait enthusiastically for when Chapter 27 comes out (Chapter 26 came out 5 months ago). Also, I don't think Dan intentionally meant to leave all his readers 'hanging'. Other, more important priorities (like a job that paid him money), 'got' in the way. And you know what? Good for Dan! JS & Sharon, Dom mentioned in a forum post that Taylor had characteristics of one of his previous BFs (someone he was dating at the time he was writing TOU). Don't worry, we can delete this thread before Dom gets his internet access back. And none will be the wiser

When I first started reading all Dom's stories, I thought that Dom was writing somewhat from the first person perspective, thus I thought he was like Owen, Quinn, and Rory. However, what little bit Dom does tell us about himself in his Blogs (and from his old posts at the yahoo group), he doesn't resemble Owen, Quinn, or Rory at all. The real Dom is anti-relationship, has a bunch of piercings, and is probably a big troublemaker. So, while Dom's internet access is out, I was curious as to which Domluka character you think Dom is most like? Is it Murphy from TOU? James from TSOJ? Dennis from TLW? My educated guess? A THREEWAY!!!!! :wacko: That's why Aaron(TLS) wanted to bring Rory over to Seth's house. Aaron (TLS) still hangs around Seth because they still mess around a bit. When Aaron(TLS) was privately speaking to Seth, he clued Seth in on his plan to seduce Rory and offered Seth a little action too. That's why Seth put some cologne on, he wanted in on the action. Seth was waiting for Aaron(TLS) to 'complete the sale' before he jumped in to help. After Rory dropped the glass and left, plans changed.
