  1. Was that an Easter Egg hiding there? ;–)
  2. I was listening to different Mariachi version of Bohemian Rhapsody (with male voices) and I was amused to notice the same sorts of Spanish-accent pronunciations as I hear from my Mexican, Salvadoran, and Guatamalan neighbors. When I worked in department stores, I'd get used to hearing Chinese-influenced and Tagalog-influenced English too. I remember one woman from China who would page people to the ‘Men Department’ or the ‘Shoes Department’ (there were several separate women's departments in that store). ;–)
  3. I just wish they had been able to use a mixing board to adjust the volume of the trumpets in a few places to emphasize the vocals more.
  4. I have admit that Oscar did a better job than Robbie on Bohemian Rhapsody, but it's clear he's still a young child who needs to work on his timing and practice his piano more. I'm sure part of it is that his fingers and hands struggle with adult-sized instruments and that he'll grow into a better musician.
  5. You know, back when the first complaint about Oscar popped up, Page restrained himself from linking to Oscar's version of The Joker… ;–)
  6. Seems like everyone is jumping n the bandwagon…
  7. I watched a video of Robbie Williams covering Bohemian Rhapsody live. He cheated by including most of the Queen harmony section as a video. But he doesn't seem to have the range to sing many of the high parts of the song. I'd have to judge his attempt as a huge fail! You'd think he would have used backup singers to replicate the harmonies that are such a big part of the song. I always thought he was theatrical (in a good way), but in the video he comes off as amateurish when he waves ‘goodbye’ in the middle of the song. I'm sure there were other Queen songs he could have chosen that would have made a much better tribute to Freddie Mercury. (He could have used images of his own exposed ‘bum’ to accompany Fat Bottom Girls, for example.) ;–)
  8. As it's almost Easter...here is some happy music. This performance is almost breathtakingly fine. Beautiful. Francesco d'Avalos leads The Philharmonia in Clementi's Symphony No. 4.

Why do I have the feeling that someone saw Wren & Caleb kissing by the fire? ;–) Rachel does seem to understand that they are more than just good friends. She's known both of them for years. If Tracy was able to figure out Caleb, it shouldn't be that much of a stretch to think that Rachel could do the same thing, especially as she sees them interact. I realize that denial is a very powerful thing that blinds us to amazingly obvious facts, but most women do notice tiny details that the majority of men are oblivious to even when it's right in front of them. ;–)
  10. I'm sure Sablo [the correct name for this statement] could come up with some sort of reason to visit the redhead! ;–)
  11. Whoops! I meant to write Azrael there!
  12. I seem to remember reading that Sablo Azrael wasn't always the only one doing his job, but his coworkers all gradually left, leaving him the last one doing the job.…
  13. Sablo went to visit Patrick! ;–)
  14. I nominate the angelic Jazz as the next cameo… ;–)
  15. I'm still thinking there'll be a ‘promotion’ for Diego so he'll be able to take some of Azrael's caseload. There must be some sort of Plan B in off chance that Azrael decides to follow his former coworkers wherever they went. I mean, they do have to have some way to keep things going into eternity, don't they? ;–)

I'm guessing they watched God's Own Country. I was reminded of the All Creature Great and Small TV series (with the then-sexy Peter Davison) when I watched the movie, not just because of the setting in the Yorkshire Dales, but also because of the animals. (I could almost imagine Tristan and James driving out to diagnose a lamb.) The two actors worked on (separate) farms for experience before they filmed the movie. The movie won Frameline41's AT&T Audience Award. ;–)

If the long rides are too taxing for Eric, he could talk to kids in school about what life was like on the old estate or about gardening – but probably not about what it was like to be a Gay man in the past. ;–)

That plus inertia is keeping them together. I'm sure there's also a bit of ‘what will the neighbors think’ in there as well. Felicity is feeling guilt, shame, and embarrassment as well as physical pain. Many victims of domestic abuse stay until someone else is threatened (usually their child) or they are hospitalized. I hope Felicity leaves her abuser while she is still able to move on her own. I'm under the impression that he relies on her much more than she does on him. But the timing will be tricky since Eric is still staying with Adam & Andy…

    Chapter 10

I might have expected Richie's siblings to remember what his room looked like since they've known him all their lives, but Freddie has only known Richie a few weeks and only saw the room for a short time before it was converted to a shared room. Freddie seemed to realize just how huge the imposition was that was being forced on Richie. Freddie seems to be an incredibly empathetic person.
  20. Oh I don't know about that. I happen to know you have a controversial opinion on mouthwash. I'm sure you could write a few paragraphs about why you hate the stuff! ;–)

    Expectations

Rather than just think about what this all means, they need to talk about what it means. They don't necessarily need to know what they want to happen in the longterm. They need to talk about what they enjoyed about the experience. They need to set themselves smaller goals such as, do they want to do that again or not. I think they both know the answer is yes. ;–)
  22. Maybe this can be a new way for you to satisfy all your greedy readers: include them as cameos! ;–) I guess this wasn't really much of a crossover though since Sablo first appeared in PPC. ;–)

    Chapter 11

My parents knew how stubborn I could be and I am now surprised at how much I got away with because they just got tired of dealing with my ‘determination’ (as one of my therapists described it). ;–)

    Chapter 11

I think in his extremely clumsy way, the sperm donor is trying to reach out to Richie. He just has no idea how to do it. I hope the new wife is helping to moderate his life and getting him to think through the consequences of his actions. He seems to have impulse control issues. Richie seems to be impulsive too. He doesn't just resemble his sperm donor in physical features. I think their similarity causes conflict.
