  1. Was Natalie trying to pass off Steve’s creations as her own work? I don’t know why else her pottery would suddenly change so drastically. But I feel like I’m further and further away from figuring this out! ;–)
  2. At least having incredible wealth means they can always return to Nebraska to visit Dusty and the horses. They could even buy a ranch on the Big Island and move Dusty and the horses closer to them. They could fly over to the Big Island for an afternoon’s ride… ;–)

    Chapter 24

DP? That’s more than just a really good relationship! Besides, I think they need to leave that very ‘advanced’ position alone for at least a few years. Adam would need to do lots and lots of stretching exercises before they ever think about trying that!
  4. Everyone who is relieved that things were ‘anti-climatic’ and a ’non-event’ is forgetting that @Aceinthehole is writing this story! ;–)

    Chapter 21

I think it’s more that Glenn & Glenda don’t respect him because they’re just following the examples of their father and Jon.
  6. Do your Muse harems need to involve you in an orgy or something? ;–)

    Chapter 21

We did have a bulletin board covered with pictures of missionaries, most, if not all of whom had stayed with us when they were on fundraising tours of churches. Every night when we’d pray before eating, we’d mention one of the missionaries. The next night, it would be the turn for the person/people in the next picture. I’m sure very few families had that sort of tradition unless it was the family of a minister. ;–/

    Chapter 21

My father was a minister, but I don’t remember him stopping to pray about things all the time like the ministers in movies, TV shows, and stories always do. I’m sure he was praying silently a lot of times, but I don’t remember being dragged into his prayers the way ministers are always portrayed. Of course, I was the black sheep of the family, always needing to be different! ;–)
  9. I never figured out what she was doing until after she had passed away. I haven’t been adventurous enough to try, but many recipes use frozen blueberries. I don’t drink milk and don’t buy eggs, so I don’t have the basic ingredients on hand to bake muffins. ;–)
  10. I’m a second generation Californian, but some people still see me as a foreigner and a few are shocked that I don’t speak English with an accent at best or broken English at worst!

    Chapter 1

At least one author here on GA has used that solution in their story series… ;–)
  12. I was really expecting the obnoxious genetic granddonors to call the sperm donor as a witness. I still think that there’s some sort of connection between the court case and the sperm donor’s appearance at the courthouse. Will the sperm donor file a similar case before the guys manage to leave Texas?

    Chapter 1

Shouldn’t you save thoughts like that for future stories (or chapters of Charlie Boone)? On The Big Bang Theory, they’ve pondered why all the aliens on Star Trek have genitals that are compatible. If life really did evolve independently on different planets, that would be an astronomically unlikely coincidence! ;–)

    Chapter 1

I like this twist on Vampires. They’ve always had a sexual component, but it was implied rather than being explicit. In many ways, this is a much more logical behavior. Will it still work if the semen is absorbed other than orally? ;–) John & Rendy need to explore the possibilities in future stories! ;–) You can post them between the Charlie Boone holiday tales… ;–)

    Chapter 1

Viggo Mortensen’s character, Ben Cash, in Captain Fantastic would agree with you! There’s one scene where he standing casually next to their bus’ door fully naked when a disapproving woman walks by. He says something to the effect of, ‘It’s just a penis, every man has one!’

    Chapter 1

Some things they did back then seem odd to us now. There are plenty of pictures of men swimming naked in pools, sometimes with women in swimsuits! There are pictures of college swim teams posing naked with fully clothed coaches. ;–) Life Magazine apparently published photos of naked WWII military personnel with one or two instances of visible penises.

    Memories

If your goal is to be someone’s human pillow, I guess you start by being a couch potato. Then you keep gaining weight. But I hope you like (no offense anyone, I don’t know of a euphemism) chubby chasers. More cushion… ? ;–)

Grrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaat! Alex finally tells Jeremy about his crush and that he still feels the same way – and Jeremy falls asleep in his arms. Just what you want: to be someone’s human pillow! ;–)

    The Letters

I remember this being mention previously (but in a future chapter to you, John), so it must have affected more than one chapter. Ace confirmed her name is Sarah. If I mix up character names in my head (as I often do), the only thing that happens is that I've embarrassed myself in the Comments. ;–)

Ideas? They were just hints and brief suggestions of what might happen. You’ve taken them and created a living, breathing creation! This is way beyond what I had imagined. It’s a bit like comparing my scribbles in kindergarten to a Pixar movie! ;–)

I have to echo @FanLit. Your descriptive turns of phrase painted a lovely canvas that made me feel like I was there with Louis & Don and their friends. The beauty of the dinner contrasted with the frustration of the surgeon who lost his patient before he even started to work on her. ;–)

I love throwing out ideas about how stories might proceed after the author has completed them. Every once in a while, my suggestions provoke the author into writing a sequel! I get to be creative and tease them at the same time. Much better than subjecting anyone to my crude attempts at writing! ;–)
