As I watched the show, I realized you can vote for multiple books, the restriction is that you can only vote for a book once a day. So you can vote for the same book everyday if you want. ;–) If you’re not worried about the smirking weasel/thief giving away all your private information, you can also vote on his site.

If this was a Ranked Choice voting, I’d also vote for The Lord of the Rings, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Dune, Harry Potter, and A Separate Peace. I haven’t read all LGBTQ books. James Baldwin’s Another Country is one that I haven’t read. Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray is not one of my favorites. I’m sure I’ll be corrected if I missed any other LGBTQ books or authors. ;–)

PBS has a summer series running with an associated poll. They’re asking people to vote on their favorite novel. There are LGBT authors and stories included. I bought Dove body wash on Amazon. I used to use Neutrogena unscented liquid and bar soaps, which had a very mild chemical smell. At some point, I switched to something else, but I can’t remember why – probably because it was getting expansive and I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I was using Target’s Up & Up private label body wash for sensitive skin, but they changed the formula and made it much smellier. So the Dove body wash was an attempt to find a substitute. Dove labels it ‘unscented,’ but lists perfume as an ingredient. At least the scent is relatively mild and dissipates quickly. The legal lies are very frustrating! I just tried checking on the Neutrogena site (which is frustratingly and extremely poorly designed to force you to look at a special offer, but won’t let you ignore it because it keeps jumping back to the top preventing you from looking at the lower parts of the page) and they no longer list either their soap or liquid, scented or unscented. That explains why I can’t find it at Target and why it’s not listed on Target.com or on Amazon. (I remember my orthodontist had a huge pump of it next to the very visible sink in his office so we’d see he was washing his hands between patients.)

Then maybe Nora’s gasp was because she’s related to the real estate agent who just lost a huge listing (you know, small town and all)… ;–)

Do the locals know more about Sanctuary and Sam’s people than Finn and his mother do?

I think Finn was disappointed that he won’t have the benefit of Sam’s advice and friendship. ;–) Will Finn find a secret compartment with an ancient agreement or documentation of the rules hidden in his study? ;–) I hope the rules allow Finn to adopt a child as his heir. It could get messy if he’s required to father the child himself. Of course, there’s always IVF and surrogacy although it’s very expensive… ;–)

A lot of times they use fragrances to cover up the unpleasant smells of the chemicals in the regular products. It could be more expensive to find combinations that don’t have strong or offensive smells. The worst is when the product says ‘Unscented’ but lists fragrance or perfume in the ingredients. Legally they get away with that, but it’s not honest. Fortunately, I’m not allergic to fragrances like some, I just don’t like them.

I wasn’t predicting the next chapter. I was tossing out a potential story arc direction… ;–)

And just when did the VUN go to sub-Saharan Africa? ;–) They met and picked up Amansis in Egypt. How am I wrong?

@Lizzydolphin37 faces a daunting task reading all these older chapters. It’ll take a while to catch up to the most recent ones! But at least there’s absolutely no wait this way! ;–)

The new Nissan Rogue ad features the newish Eastern Span of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. the less glamorous, but much busier bridge to San Francisco. Unlike the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge and all the other bridges that cross San Francisco Bay and the Carquinez Strait (as well as the Coronado Bridge across San Diego Bay) are all owned by the State of California. But since none of those bridges are in the Los Angeles area, the state forces the Bay Area (and the San Diego area) to pay for upgrades, maintenance, and replacements.

I think you’re taking ideas from things @Butcher56 says too, not just @Kev and me! ;–)

Maybe writing in a completely different genre could inspire your muse! And if that’s the case, I’d suggest that the next entry should be from the dragon’s perspective! Thinking really outside the box! ;–)

Whether Mike faces charges depends on the jurisdictions. AIDS Activists have been working to reduce or eliminate the criminalization of PWAs. But clever prosecutors have ways to work around those restrictions, usually against LGBTQs though.

I was as shocked as Adam was to find out his sperm donor was in the old house. I hadn’t expected to hear from him again. It’s interesting to find out that he has a connection with Mike’s father too. Even if Mike actually has AIDS, Kyle needs to be on PreP or a prophylactic anti-HIV medication right away! If Kyle Mike has HIV, he should be on anti-virals too. If he was only exposed, he should get what I suggested for Kyle too. Too bad Kyle’s anger and outrage didn’t delay things a few more minutes…

I’m thinking Fred is going to have to injure Cyril relatively severely in a public place where Cyril doesn’t have a choice about the police and medical care. When and if that happens, they’ll force him to see a therapist – whether he’ll actually talk to that therapist is questionable. Even if Cyril refuses to press charges, as is not uncommon with abuse survivors, there will be documentation of his injuries.

It’s difficult to identify with a larger group that has no name. ;–) A small group might not have an official name, but in your mind you think of them as “my friends Timmy, Jack, ‘Batman,’ and JP”. We might hate it when other people use labels against us, but they’re important anyway. We can always expand what those labels mean if they’re too constricting or we can adopt additional labels to describe who we are. ;–) Intersectionality is important. My identity as a proud Californian does not preclude my identifying as Gay, Asian-American, Democrat, Progressive, and cis-male. I can be all those things simultaneously as well being as clinically depressed, disabled, and poor. ;–)

Not only did Kyle’s mom and dad already know, but she noticed Buddy too! She’s an extremely observant person to have realized that Buddy was attracted to Kyle within just a few moments of ‘running into’ him! No wonder she’s such a successful Prosecutor! ;–)
