    A Broken Rule

You know, I thought it was @Wayne Gray and mikiesboy (who doesn’t like being ‘summoned’) who were writing the soap opera story! ;–)
  2. He has an oily personality that disturbs me. ;–)
  3. Gail should know you can’t mistreat your subordinates without the risk of insubordination! But I think she probably has contingency plans. A woman who rises to that level has had many men fighting to block her progress, both on her way up and after she achieved her goal. ;–) Terrence was too slimy for this action to be a surprise to anyone. How can he be sure that the board won’t pull the same trick on him when they realize he's not compliant enough? An easily identifiable Gay man has to have had similar struggles to Gail’s and Richard Hatch* proved that at least some Gay men can rise to dizzying heights before tumbling due to hubris! ;–) * I never watch Survivor and thought that Another Gay Movie was mildly amusing, but not very good. ;–)

So the woman in the grocery store was not just a one-time, throwaway character? ;–)

I don’t see any harm in Grant paying for the woman’s groceries. He could see that she was struggling financially and with her restless kids. Paying for her groceries isn’t going to change her life, but it will make her life slightly easier. Perhaps she will now be able to buy a few gifts for the kids for christmas. Or maybe she’ll be able to pay a bill that's past due. This little bit of assistance might even keep her family housed! It doesn’t take much for dominoes to start falling and Grant’s hand might have kept the first one standing.

I think the invitation to US Thanksgiving was Natalie’s way of encouraging Grant and Troy to realize their mutual attraction. ;–) I don’t think it will hurt, but I think they’re both stubbornly unable to see what Natalie and we clearly recognize. ;–)

I’m only worried because I know your history! ;–)
  8. I’m surprised that our little boy scout hadn’t done any preparation. Using his own fingers would have been a minimal first step. But a toy or two would have been more effective. ;–) And considering how supportive his father is, I wouldn’t have been surprised if he had given a dildo or butt plug to April in anticipation of this eventuality. ;–)
  9. How did the surgery go? And how are you doing?

Hey, if Billy had Brett, that always left poor Dustin available for me! ;–)
  11. With Aiden’s War, the WAR series comes to a conclusion. Through young Aiden’s eyes, we see Billy, Brent, Dustin, and Mon Valley High from a different perspective. We get a better insight into the events in WAR 6: Commencement. A familiar villain appears as well. Of course because this is Aiden’s story, we do meet some new students and discover new situations. While @jkwsquirrel has said this is the last we’ll hear from these characters, he’s said that before… ;–)

You know, considering how close those three neighborhoods are, I’m surprise that there aren’t some tall walls or high fences in the woods to keep all the undesirables in Dustinville out of nice little Billytown and exclusive Brett Manors. ;–)

Aiden needs to talk to Brent to find out all the dirt on Hartley. ;–)

I think we need an epilogue! ;–)

  16. You can have my share! I would have starved on that trip since I refuse to eat fish & seafood. ;–)
  17. Yes, that was one of his best-known three early movies (along with The Pirate Movie with now-Out Kristy McNichol), A Night in Heaven also featured Lesley Ann Warren and Bryan Adams singing Heaven on the theme song. Chris won a Golden Raspberry for Worst Actor (not convincing enough as either a student or a stripper‽). ;–)
  18. I’m certain I asked you why you named your character after the actor whose primary attribute was his willingness to expose his lean, sexy, nineteen-year-old body on the big screen. You claimed not to know who he is. Neither Christopher Atkins, nor Brooke Shields were gifted thespians, but that’s not why people went to see the movie. ;–) But Chris has aged very well for a man Barack Obama’s age! Chris continued his acting career, but his roles were mostly forgettable. His most recent movie was release just last year.
  19. When I saw the title, I thought it sounded familiar. But the description didn’t. When I read this chapter, it all came back to me. I read this on another site and almost certainly emailed you about it! ;–)
  20. When you’re backing away, it’s safest to move slowly so you don’t trip on something in your haste to get away! You wouldn’t want to stumble and fall when you’ve encountered an angry bear! You might get injured in the fall and you become much more vulnerable to a raging bear! ;–) And I believe you meant to say that Grant has not medaled… ;–)
  21. You already know you’re not my type – and you’re married anyway! ;–) I don’t date married men – even if they are attempting to date me together or at the same time. I don’t know how that works. But you have a much more interesting life than I do, @Wayne Gray! ;–)
  22. So, two guys who have been denying themselves for quite a while and are both now able to relax and indulge themselves. ;–)
  23. I think Grant has been so focused on getting his medical degree that his emotional side has been nearly completely denied.
  24. I know several other authors have mentioned writing down details like that, just to prevent that very issue! ;–)
  25. That doesn’t surprise me at all! You seem to be very organized and somewhat methodical (but your stories don’t feel rigid or methodical at all, that’s not what I mean). Every author seems to have a different method of writing. ;–)
