lol, I needed a laugh this morning I can almost see you all disturbed on the bus, saying 'wtf?'

I just re-read the last chapter, I liked how Tony picked up Will and carried him to the bed, how sweet and what a lovely visual

I like reading MM fiction because it is usually more emotional. As in, the feelings are deeper and more sincere. I don't really like it when women write gay male stories because... it just doesn't always gell. There are some obvious exceptions to this, many of which are on this site (Cia, Nephy etc.) I like conflict and resolution, I like a good plot. It's also hot as hell I can't really explain it but to me I almost don't see gender, I see truth and love and emotion. When the characters fall in love, it's magical. It's that eternal thing that's always been out of reach for me that I desperately want to grab and reading about it fulfills that loss. I like reading about men and realizing that they can be vulnerable and conflcted and battle within themselves and others and reaching that decision that it's love, it's glorius and it feels good. And yes, I watch it. I have no shame. On the flip side, I used to read 'bodice ripper' like MF romances. But honestly, outside of being forced to read one to review it, I can't stand how faky faky it is. It's the EXACT same scenario over and over and over again. OH poor woman! She's either pregnant, poor, disadvanted , held at knifepoint against a modern day pirate or some other crazy non stop unrealistic thing. And every chick has big boobs (which is good) and a redeeming quality. The men are always hot, rich and arrogant. Now lesbian stories I like those, but it usually tends to go more toward sex than 'feelings'. There is no deep underlying problem that gets resolved. The most prominent problem is something very superficial and involves lots of sex in front of windows. Unless I'm looking in that window, I don't care. It's really boring to read. And just to clarify I do like lesbian sex and I'm still bored too tears. There are very few authors that can capture my attention and keep it. I don't think I'm explaining myself well but maybe you can see a point through the rambling? And I asked some straight guys if they would read FF stories and I got weird looks and NO. I do know that they watch it though

Well, I totally got busted reading this at work today. Well worth it though An entire Will chapter! A Will and Tony moment!! They seem so potentially good together. What changed Tony from being 'weird' to being normal? That was surprising but in a good way. So glad to see these two back together, even in just hooking up. They would be a great couple with an open relationship rules. Everyone's reactions were great, I loved the talk with Brad , Will and Robbie and that he went to them, that was so sweet. Kids are never too old to need extra attention like that and it was good that Brad picked up on that. Darius is such an ..... interesting person. Another terrific job!

Does anyone know what the updates were about for PMS? I don't feel like rereading them at the moment since I'm rereading Land Whore. I just wanted to know if anything important happened or if it was just typo fixo.

Just curious, why would anyone WANT Paternity to end? It gives us such a great story and completely different than what we normally get. I'm truly puzzled by that... When Will broke down and explained to Robbie how he felt, hysterics and all, was so heartfelt that I wanted to cry and give him a hug too. That was probably the only thing that could have happened to alter Robbie's attitude. I wonder how much of that was overheard by the rest of the group and what they thought of Will's little breakdown and what he said about the rape? On a lighter note, I loved the conversation about Hot Jeff between Brad and Will “I’d almost understand if you did,” he said. “Really?” I asked. He looked at me and smiled. “No.” That sounds like real life to me lol, that is true parent/child interaction at it's best

I loved the email from Brad and am eagerly awaiting to see what happens when Will calls him (hopefully that night). It's a shame that his hookup sucked but good that he recognized why he wanted to sleep with him. It seems that is a trap we all fall in, wanting love and substituting sex and being left unfulfilled. Great chapter! I don't care that I'm in the minority here, I am a huge Will fan.

I really liked all the different POV's from the emails. It gave a good glimse into what happened back home, I was very curious about that. The fact that Robbie and Darius didn't contact Will is not surprising. I am kindof surprised that (I am assuming here) Matt did. He doesn't seem to really like Will or the attention that Will gets. I have to say that I am glad that he didn't have a week of complete surfer debauchery and sleep with every guy he met. The fact that he was not interested in sex should clue his parents in that he needs immediate help. That is not normal for any teenager. In the back of my mind I was hoping for a Scott/Will hookup though I hope he actually makes it to Santa Cruz.

There was a minister in the story, he didn't really show up until the middle of the story and wasn't a central character if I am remembering correctly but I do remember alot of church and talking about God. WOW! I could hardly believe my eyes when I read this chapter. I can't believe Martin abused Will. You would think that Brad would have done a background check first, this can't be the first abuse occurrence for Martin. The absolute destruction that Will is capable of surely will clue his idiot fathers into the hurt and pain he is feeling. I can't wait to see Brad and Robbie's responses to this and I definitely want to see what Stef and JP ( and the rest of the gang ) have to say about this and what they are planning to do to intervene. GREAT chapter! I loved every second of it ( and thrilled with the extra length ) and can't wait for the next chapter!

I like Will's POV as well as insights to the 'adults' who we also saw grow up. Gathan was ok but I prefer Will with little Gathan snippets. At times, reading this makes me wince in sympathy for Will, I remember long long ago being his age and the stupid things I did/said/thought that made perfect sense then, now being really immature when I think back, (even for such a mature kid.) I still was thinking that Brad would have a problem with Will and Tony having sex when it was right in his face... and especially the way Will was treated. I've never wanted to smack a fictional character before but seriously? no condom again, you would have thought he would have learned from the first time, lol.

I'm sad that the story's on hold but considering all the crap you put up with and the tremendous amount of writing you do, I hope you enjoy your well deserved break. Thank you for writing such an amazing series that I would have gladly paid for but happy it's free, all the best to you

What a great chapter! Tony has some serious problems, I can't believe he told Will all that in the morning. I actually think Will behaved rather maturely. I probably would have reacted a lot worse when I was his age. My question is, If they were as loud as I think they were, did anyone hear them? In that family, if one person knows, everyone else seems to know sooner or later. I wonder how they would deal with that? I still can't see Brad being ok with Will having sex. Now about the barebacking. How incredibly stupid for someone so smart. But in the heat of the moment, a little drunk etc. things happen. Will he ( Will) tell Brad about his mistake and acknowledge his Dad was right or go in secret to get tested? I really loved this chapter Mark, great job

Odessa was so selfish in her decision. She did something that impacted the entire family in a rather negative way without a thought. I know eventually everything should (hopefully) work out but right now she's a complete bitch for it.

I think it's interesting how you have to separate sleeping arrangements, clothing etc. and the bathroom lock privilege? Would you call it a privilege?

I love Micah and Jove, I hate that he's making him think he is Hunter though but .... what can ya do? The way Hunter was stressed out about the bills and sending Jove out was kindof bittersweet

LOVED IT!!! I'm not sure if you remember how impatient I am for updates but this is one of my FAVORITE stories. The characters are so amazing and I love the 'situations' that they are placed in. I've been waiting since December for an update, please, please ,please don't make us wait months anymore? Please?
