Well, if I remember high school correctly, most 16-year old girls don't go for 14-year old boys who look like they're 11 or 12. In the chapter of Man in Motion where Darius enters Brad's life, Brad notes that Nick was engaged to a nice girl named Linda. He should have already been married with a son named Harry and another kid on the way by March 1985, to correspond with Harry being 16 and Barry being 14 in 1999. It's a relatively easy fix, like the one about Robbie already being on the way in CAP when he shouldn't have been concieved yet.

I decided to come up with birthdates for Ella, Gathan, and Zach...I feel like they're going to be important characters. If they aren't- eh, I can always take it out later. I had to work out their ages because of the whole high school grade thing, and see where they stood against the Schluter boys and the Hobarts. We're going with June 25th, 1982 as Gathan's birthday. He'll graduate high school in 2000. August 8th, 1983 is Ella's birthday. And she'll graduate high school in 2001. Finally Zach's birthday is May 30th, 1985, and he'll graduate high school in 2003, a year ahead of the trifecta of JJ/Marie/Will. We still need a birthday for Wade. Does anyone feel like going back over Bloodlines to see if there was any mention of Wade turning 19 that spring semester like Matt did? Mark, aren't you glad I keep track of this stuff?

I gotta admit, I'm really leaning toward Tiffany being a van den Boss. The babies could be named Danfield van den Boss-Graves and Gail van den Boss-Graves. No need for middle names. LOL. I don't think Darius or Robbie have middle names.

I would have said that, but then I realized that Andy and I would have killed each other about three minutes into the date. Actually, from Cross-Currents, I'd want a date with Trey. He just comes off as such a chill, laidback guy that'd be fun to go on a casual date with.

Okay, well...the other issue is that I'm kinda sucking at the dish and pasta shifts they have me on. I'm fine with the Dining Hall cleaning shift, but yeah... Jeanine's going to have a girl, I think. How about Gail van den Boss-Graves? It's old-fashioned, but old-fashioned names became vogue during this decade, and it's a lovely little tribute to Tonto. Jeanine was around Tonto enough to go for that. And I'm going with either Carrswold or Danfield as the first name for Tiffany's son. It's pretty common for someone to have a surname as a first name, like Taylor.

I never thought Carullo was supposed to be gay. I read him more as a bi guy who leaned more toward girls, but liked messing around with men as well.

Dutch would work for Tiffany, but aren't Dutch women usually tall? Tiffany is short.

Alright, so it's the new semester. I have a job on campus at the student dining hall. Work is work, but this time around I'm getting more hours. And to be honest, I really don't like two of the shifts I have- I don't like the pace, and while I know I could get used to the duties over the semester, I just don't feel like $7.25 an hour is worth getting aggravated trying to get used to something when I've got two other shifts with job duties I'm used to having. This week I'm working somewhere close to 20 hours, and I'm just feeling like it's too much for me. I'm considering dropping back down to about ten, getting rid of the two shifts I really don't like having, while being open to "sub" in for other shifts. I totally thought I could work about 12 to 15 hours, and I don't know if I can really do it. On one hand, I really like making extra money, with spring break coming up and everything. On the other hand, I'm starting to feel like I'm getting stretched thin- not there yet, but when the academic workload really starts coming in I don't know how I'm going to feel. I feel like the hours are already cutting into my study time. I hate feeling like a quitter, but I really don't know if I can carry this kind of job workload all semester. My gut feeling is telling me to cut back on my hours, but I'm worried about how that will make me look, as well as lost money opportunities. What do you think?
