    Some sweet sorrow in that chapter. I really liked the way you handled Travers and Granger's "re-meeting", Mark! Well done! I've missed Travers. My sense is that he is the more smitten one. Mind you, Calvert is still very fresh in Granger's mind. I take it Robey is still on Travers' ship. It will be Granger's turn to be in the presence of Travers' other lover. I wonder if Travers has been as honest with Robey. Lots to look forward to. Maybe Matt and Cody from the other story need to sit down with Granger, Travers, Calvert and Robey over some grog or rum ration and talk things out.

    It's great when you're reading a story and you conclude that it just couldn't get any better and then...POW...it gets better! Simply amazing, Mark. I enjoyed reading the very astute observations from members following Mark's question on Wade's and JP's personalities. Bravo. Stef was at his very best at the GBLT presentation. I just couldn't stop laughing.

    I'm in Ontario visiting my da. That was a great chapter. Matt's parents....well, I don't know for sure...but....I'm not very confident over their conversion. This whole situation sucks. Even my own dad thinks gays are pedophiles.

    This is all a waste of time. CJ has repeatedly told us that he doesn't use cliffhangers. For me, that puts an end to it. The Goat has had to endure such infamy for far too long now. Let's give it a rest. :2hands: I fully support Mark Arbour's nomination as King of Cliffhangers!.

    Fascinating question. I would like to think that they would jump on a plane and be there for him. I mean they changed his diapers! Once you've changed diapers for a person you tend to have some sort of of real connection. Matt's parents really need to get in touch with what's important. I only hope I'm right.

    Get a grip, everyone. :2hands: Like all of you, I always more, more more... I mean who wants to live in a state of anxiety? But, in the other corner (wearing no trunks at all ) there is some pleasure in not knowing what's happening in the present moment. There has to be. Why do people read mystery novels? The important thing to remember is that we'll know the outcome eventually. There will be peace...and hopefully piece. Chapter 46 was just superb! Totally loved it. It was grueling, but it was fun nevertheless. The love that Matt and Wade have for each other, well its just incredible. That said, if Mark kills Matt off or gives him some terminal disease, I'll organize the posse!!!

    Did I say cliffhangers are a bad thing? Actually, in your case, cliffhangers are a good thing...'cause you are vulnerable to moaning and whining from your fans. I believe the desired result is that you post one chapter of each story. Here's the bottom line, Mark.....we are insatiable. Picture this. A huge maple or oak tree. The tree is full of nests, hundreds of them. Each nest has 3 or 4 hungry little birdies, all with their mouths wide open, and squawking of course, to be fed. You are the sole "parent" bird and your job is to feed the multitude. Then the camera pans back and there are thousands of these trees, all full of hungry little squawking birdies. I hope you don't have nightmares now.

    Yeah, right! Nice try though! If it looks like a cliffhanger, sounds like a cliffhanger, feels like a cliffhanger and smells like a cliffhanger, guess what? It's a cliffhanger. :2hands: The authour's inability to resolve said cliffhanger in a single chapter is irrelavent.

    If Mark knows what's good for him....what's the name of that Stephen King novel where the authour is kidnapped and made to re-write his story. It's mono and Matt makes a full recovery. See! It's simple!

    Oh sure! Keep talking about the charter with the hot surfer boy while we have to endure three middle-aged women. Well, Trevor, when it comes to workin' the tips, do what ya gotta do! Fun chapter, CJ! The banter between Julie and Trevor is great. The "outing" was hilarious - the outing of his "situation" no less. Julie set that up well. Maybe that's the tack Trevor should take with his father, "Ah, Dad, I have a situation here." On that subject, Julie's take was his dad wouldn't be so bad with the gay thing. Is Trevor half-imagining his dad's negative reaction? We'll wait and see, I guess. Each with a $400.00 tip. Not bad at all!

    Mrs. Danfield will no doubt continue to prop her husband up. Her life choices were made long ago. She will drink more now. She has that much more pain to drown. Matt and Wade are so great together. Carullo will survive. You gotta love this guy.

    I was wondering the same thing. It may be that Konrad has provided services for his team captain as well. It would also explain Turner's concern that Wade not let everyone think the whole team is gay.

    Chapter 2 was supreme! Simply supreme! Yes, I sound more gay when I've been thoeoughly entertained! I loved the opening scene with Calvert and Caroline. Calvert is a sweetheart! caroline was most gracious. I'm sure that wasn't easy for her. So it turns out Arthur was a willing participant in Caroline's plotting. I think Granger set him straight, though. Any fantasy he has of having Granger for himself needed to be dispelled. I must conclude from the closing sentence of this chapter that Caroline is once again "knocked-up". I thought chapter 2 would never be posted. Bravo, Mark!!
