  1. Did anyone notice Ian's big
  2. That was excellent! Yes, the same thought has crossed my mind once or twice; fortunately, I've never acted on it. I want to wish my da, James, a very Happy Father's Day! Whenever I'm in Ontario and want to visit him, I have to go to his golf course. He's 85. Conner

    My excuses

Well, Vance, simply put, your health comes first. It doesn't take a Mother Theresa to understand what you're going through. Back pain can be horrific...and scary, too. So, get well (Kitty too). That's an order. Mind your elders. :2hands: My only advice is that suspend that morning gymnastic routine you do...especially that triple somersault dismount off the high bar. Conner
  4. Not a single hosted author has posted an update since you posted SMC 16 on June 10th. Save the day, Nick!!! Conner
  5. " 'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." This is a line from the poem 'In Memorium 22' by Alfred Lord Tennyson. He goes back a bit. He, too, had lost a very good friend and wrote the In Memorium series to honour his friend and express his loss. Conner
  6. I've only ever taken the Irish part of my heritage seriously....hiccup.
  7. That's hilarious! Yes, it was difficult to see you clearly. So that's what dudes near Clevlend do, eh? You should have had a warning: Don't Try This at Home!! I won't be trying it. I'd fall on my butt. If I were actually to do three, I'd go into respiratory arrest. Conner
  8. Happy Birthday, Bob! Soi sage. Conner

    Too Late?

You're on a roll, Steve. Go for it!
  10. Being able to put life issues "into perspective" is a skill we all could be better at. Good for you! I'd like to suggest that you could also put 'yourself' into perspective here. You said something about having "no buisness" being upset. I don't buy into that. I don't buy into the flip side either, meaning that we have a right to be upset. Anger is a normal human emotion. Anger tells us that someone or something is messing with us in some way. Anger is not right or wrong, good or bad. Anger just is. What's important is how we deal with the anger. Ok, so you flew off the handle and crapped on your dad. You thought about it and then apologized. I'm sure your dad accepted the apology. You'll try and handle it better next time. Case closed. <Steps down from soapbox> Conner
  11. Anyone who thinks CJ is gonna go 2 whole weeks without checkin' in on the comments here doesn't know our gifted gay goat very well! I believe, if you check his several goodbye posts  , he always said that he 'might' not have internet access. CJ would never tell us an outright lie. Nor should he, given how well he has mastered the art of misdirection. Now, as CJ has told us (ad nauseum), he's just a lurker here. So it's only natural that he would have packed his wireless laptop and a spare battery or three. Whether we're talking commitment or addiction, CJ is here!!! Make no mistake about that! The question really is. will he post? At the very least, he will log in as a guest. Then again, anyone can do that. Remember, CJ's a moderator here. That gives him access to "controls" the rest of us don't have, right? Has he perhaps created a new member account for himself? I mean, it's not that he needs the extra post count!! So, I say post away as you would normally...at the very least, it'll make his vacation that much better!! Oh yeah, let's also see who can spot CJ here at GA over the next 2 weeks. Conner
  12. That is just f**king marvelous! Bravo! The perfect crime, no less!
  13. One day, you'll write a story about your relationship. All the best. Conner
  14. Chapter 28 was stupendous, CJ! A whole lot is revealed in this chapter. Two things struck me as being particularly important. First there's a pool party coming up for Chad's birthday!!! oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!! Second... Veronica has a goat! Isn't that sweet! I hope the 'somebody' who got her goat gives him back! Thanks, CJ! Conner
  15. WOW!!! This is going to be a great story. It will definitely be well worth the wait. Just make sure you come back. :2hands: Gabe - what a jerk! Looking forward to learning about Brandon. Conner P.S. Is there a pool in the theatre!
  16. Hey there goat buddy, Mr. Moderator goat-dude! I have an idea. I get one every year around this time. I don't have them often 'cause they make my head hurt. How about posting something from LTMP in the Sneak Peeks section. Like Now! Just a suggestion. please please please please please please please please
  17. So you're saying you want to diaper the goats? Conner
  18. I might as well get the worse one out first. I love boy bands. But that's not the bad part...I like their music. I have all their cd's and still play them. omg, I don't believe I admitted that. A side story to the above...I was in a post office 3 or 4 months ago. The male clerk was about 19 - 20 and really cute. I noticed his name tag said Justin. So, to prolong the contact, I said, "So you're the dude who's bringing sexy back?" He almost went into respiratory arrest. Confession #2 I'm an RC - Recovering Catholic. As a young teenager, I masturbated a great deal. Being in a Catholic school, I had to go to confession every month. I could only bring myself to confess to 4 or 5 times a month, which, believe me, was a little on the low side. So I used to keep track of how many I was behind, believing firmly that I could get it under control and eventually catch up. At about 85 behind, I quit keeping track. I couldn't take it anymore. Yes, it is funny now but not then. Conner
  19. That's absolutely right, CJ! As I have repeatedly stated, each chapter should have a pool party!
  20. This chapter didn't get interesting until... Ok, that's not true....let's just say I got distracted at that point. In fact, these last two chapters have been incredibly exciting. I'm talking riveted to your seat exciting. Way to go CJ!!! I'm proud to say that I figured out the meaning of the chapter title "Unraveling". It was a reference to the hardest thing Chris had to do in that chapter...he had to unravel himself from Steve in the shower because Dex was possibly calling about the data stick. Something else, just as brillant as my interpretation of the chapter title, has also occured to me. How many times in that chapter did you see the two names Veronica and Betty appear together or in close proximity? That was CJ's way of telling us that he was (is?) an Archie comic book fan...you know...with Jughead. Yes, I am a legend in my own mind. Veronica's tirade, delivered to Chris right there on the Piedmont highway, was absolutely hilarious. It really worked for me because I thought the car pulling up was the Piedmont Sheriff's car. But, no, it was something worse!!! It was Veronica. Conner
  21. Excellent, excellent insight. CJ has patiently, but persistently, advocated Eric's basic goodness for months now. Your support will lighten his load and allow him to redouble his efforts in this most charitable endeavour. Canadian liberals are held in high regard here at GA. Conner Just another Canadian liberal held in high regard
  22. Yeah, Jake and me would have taken up raunching....I mean ranching.
  23. Sure, that's what you say now! Give it 30 years. You're just a pup! Happy Birthday!
  24. Past 150 mph? Are you out of your goat-brain? What were you trying to do? Get all of the AZ desert sand out of your wazoo??? No more of that until you get this story finished....or at least one more pool party! Yes, that was most inconsiderate of Chris to break young Eric's nose! He should have just turned the other cheek. I really must echo the words of many of your readers on the somewhat increased pace of of that chapter. I couldn't stop or slow down at all. Well done, CJ? Conner
