Really enjoyed this chapter, the writing just gets better and better. I hope the story continues for a long time to come. I really like how the first section was handled; the discussion of the Alpha's on what to do and how to handle what is going on. I think the upcoming council meeting/election will prove to be very interesting. I have a feeling that both Aiden and Ethan will be there and will come out of the closet so to speak... Love the game of hide and seek with the roses and the jockstraps, jocks are a particular fantasy of mine so this feed right into it... But what really got me about this whole seen was the tenderness and love that was generated by it, not just the sex. So happy that Casey, Darius, and Cody are finally joining together; I hope they will all be very happy. The three of them will be great protection for Aiden and Ethan both... Surprised that they choose to elevate Aiden and Ethan to the Alpha couple designate but guess it makes sense to make sure they are as ready as possible when the time comes... Can't wait for the next chapter, keep up the wonderful work...

I was really hoping that Kel was going to be able to kill his father; but as long as he is dead I guess that is all the matters. I have to say that this has been well worth the wait. I have enjoyed this story and can't wait to see how you wrap it up...

Enjoyed the chapter, can't decide exactly how Noom feels but I can tell he cares; and that probably scares him more than he has been scared in a very long time. I wonder how much the relatives in France knew before that phone call...

Loved this chapter, this whole story just keeps getting better and better. You just never know about the dinners at Escorial. This one may not have been high on drama but was oh so delicious... I do think that Wade has to be told, and I guess to some extent Brad would be the best to tell him. I do think that Wade will be conflicted to some extent; but I just can't see him being willing to give up Matt to side with his biological family and I think that is what would have to happen if he did... Can't wait for the next chapter, but do understand how busy it can get for you this time of the semester... Don't forget to take some time for yourself...

This story just keeps getting better and better. I love how Sam has this network and even when you think that the person isn't going to be up to snuff, Slide, they are... This is probably good for both the boys and Slide. Think it is great that Joseph and his friend are getting to travel some; exposure to the world can be truly great and can really help kids at that age understand their place in it... Well, the you can't choose your family; but I have a feeling that Sam isn't going to handle his sister being hit even if they have been estranged for years... Loved the side trip to Mexico, all couple need some time just for themselves. It can be harder once you have kids and other responsibilities but the time just has to be found if you want to continue to grow as a couple and stay happy... Keep up the great work...

This was a great chapter but in some ways it opened more avenues for additional questions than it actually answered. Who were the others that Jean-Pierre is supposedly with? What information did they find at the end? How many people on the council are involved? Inquiring minds want to know... Really like how the Alpha and others are trying to integrate the new comers with the members of the pack. It is just another sign on how truly different this pack is in some ways from others. Promoting Aiden within the pack is also a good idea. While I am not sure he is strong enough to actually lead the pack if something were to happen to the Alpha, he needs to be ready to step into any power vacuum that arises if something happened to the pack elders. Great job, can't wait for the next installment...

Just wanted to drop a quick note about how much I enjoyed this latest chapter. I do think it is good to get the point of view of auxiliary characters from time to time. It allows us to see the main characters from a different perspective. I thought the writing in this chapter was particularly effective and really the chapter just flew by, I found myself wanting to see so much more. I really like how everything was handled with Joseph and the money situation. At that age, status is so important and you never really know what a kid will think that others are looking at him about. I also really like how both Joseph and Tyler but took a relatively benign event and both blew it up to the point that they just know that their relationship was over... Well done... Can't wait for the next chapter...

Oh my God... I just don't even know where to start with this one... First of all, I just have to say that you are truly amazing... I honestly think this story compares favorably for me with the first three in this series; and those have always been my favorites... The writing, pacing, and plotting have just been first rate... The meeting with Mike and Brad was just so well written and really explained so many things. Then you throw Alexandra in and well, I just can't say enough. $100,000,000.00 is a lot of money but to get out of jail and keep his family safe, or at least be able to defend them against Elizabeth is worth it and more. Glad that Mike is going to be the one to control the money; even if Alexandra is better, not sure that I would want her to have access to any significant amount of money. And I love how Brad up until this meeting was in some way under-estimating Elizabeth; but I bet he doesn't any longer. The bonus about Lord Preston was just so well done and may be the more important than anyone else realizes yet. Will has actually impressed me in the last few chapters. I am never going to like him as much as some people do; but he actually seems to be showing signs of not being a total idiot... I did like how he handled all the calls; especially the ones to JJ, Carullo, and Dallas. I am not sure that he understands JJ as much as he thinks he does but even so; he understands him more than almost anyone else. I am glad that he called and filled Carullo in on everything. I hope that Will and some of the others go to Buzz's funeral. I sort of want to see how Will handles meeting Dallas in person. JJ did not freak out as much as I thought he would; although Will did not let him go off and kept him grounded to some extent. I hope that JJ lets Carullo help him through some of this if he needs it. I don't know why but I actually would like to see JJ and Carullo hook up, not sure they would be good for a happily ever after couple but they actually compliment each other in a weird way to me. I could actually see them lasting longer than anyone else would suspect. The one person I am really feeling sorry for right now though is Wade; he is eventually going to have to truly pick one side or the other. That will be a harder choice for him that I think some will suspect it to be. Keep up the outstanding job, can't wait to see what happens next....

Loved everything about this chapter, from the dance to the adventure in the Canadian wilderness. I love how the pack is has become so accepting of the others and is pulling them into the pack. It will only strengthen them all in the end. Aiden is so smart and loyal. He will make a good Alpha when the time comes, and yes, I do realize that Ethan is an Alpha as well but somehow it just seems like Aiden will always be the one in charge... Love the idea of the playroom; I am sure it would be good for a few chapters full of fun...

Really, enjoyed this latest chapter; it was nice getting the story from Joseph's point of view. The story flowed really well and felt spot on. The only issue I had, just to nitpick was the fact that they thought their son was gay because he asked for a doll when he was four for Christmas? I don't know, that bothered me some, not enough to keep me from fully enjoying the chapter, but it just felt a little off to me... It is great to see how Sam interacts and reacts to Joseph and his concern's. Just so well written and thought out... Great job and can't wait for the trip...

Truly enjoyed the latest chapter of this story; the writing and development just keep getting better and better. I have to say that this is turning into one of my true guilty pleasures... I loved how the wedding and the reception was handled and the trip to Niagara Falls was just perfect. The security could not have been any better either. I also enjoyed the New Year Eve party and hope that we see more of Nathan and Alex. Glad to see that Aiden's step grandfather, another Alpha, was so accepting of his relationship with Ethan. And glad to see that the our Alpha and Jackie are getting out and staying involved. So glad that Jean-Pierre is still around, and I like how Aiden hinted that he would be there to help him if he could. Hope we find out what the code was to next chapter. The way the Security Director had that thought makes me wonder if he doesn't know more than he is reporting...

Okay, I am officially feeling totally icky about Buzz... I have a feeling that Buzz is up to no good. I never warmed to him but sleeping with JJ, Will, and then Brad was just over the top. JJ will freak out when he finds out that Buzz went from him to Will and then his own father. I have to wonder if Michael's call isn't about Buzz??? Could he have found out that his Mother or David joined with Elizabeth to go after the Crampton/Schulter families? After what happened last time, Michael may feel that they have bitten off more than they can handle and wants to nip what he can in the bud. In a way, Buzz would be the perfect undercover operative. Being from Austin, Texas; he would have no apparent connection to either ABC or ED but they could have something on him or simply bought his support. I hope that Brad goes to Hawaii before he goes with Buzz to Connecticut but we will see... I actually feel a little sorry for JJ. I do hate that he seems to be willing to hook back up with Alex after he was so betrayed but sometimes any comfort in the storm so to speak. I personally don't think he did anything wrong with Maddy; and frankly feel both Will and Darius totally over-reacted on their parts. I feel that JP or Isidore either one would have put a stop to the running through the kitchen if they had been present. Never to young to start learning a few manners and that there is a time and place for everything. I also have to wonder if JJ was really that bad with the oral, after all, he had plenty of practice with Alex; or was Buzz trying to run some game on him or mess with his head? Darius is turning into somewhat of a bully in regards to JJ. He seems to be verbally abusive one minute and then totally dismissive of his feeling and everything else the next. Darius has never been one of my favorites but he is starting to sink way down in my estimation. Kids never understand how much they are going to change moving from high school to college. And yes, Will is still a kid in so many regards and Zach definitely is. It is exceptionally hard to keep any relationship going long distance and then you throw in the fact that one person, even if they are extremely mature for their age, is in high school and the other person has moved on to a college life... I think Will and Zach would be better off moving from a couple stage to a friends with benefit stage at this point or just break up completely, if either could handle that... I am not saying that in five years or so that they could not be back together; but this constant drama and on again off again is going to wear on them and everyone around them more than they can possible realize. They could easily begin to resent each other which could sour any chance they would ever have of ending up together. The last few chapter have been so well plotted and written. Keep up the great work, Mark. Hope you know how much we all appreciate you...

Really loved this chapter, it was so sweet and had a true sense of joy and wonder. I loved when Ethan changed and went out in the snow as a wolf for the first time. It was great to see everyone join in and spend some time in their true forms enjoying themselves and being out in nature. Truly happy that Gaelan was given confinement and probation; I think he may find himself here with this pack that will respect him in the end and treat him the way he needs to be treated. The offer for one of them to father a child with a surrogate caught be a little off guard. I am glad that they realize they need time to think about this and see if it is something that want. I would think that Aiden would be the father but maybe they could end up with one from each of them. I agree with Ethan's assessment that they probably are not ready at this time but maybe in the future. The wedding and the steps leading up to it were just perfect. So glad that everyone there was so accepting and happy for all involved.

Not often I am totally caught off guard but this chapter did it for me... So loving that we are getting a glimpse into this world again, Mark, you are a genius... JJ is working into one of my favorite people in this story. Loved the thought process he was going through and how he was weighting every option. So glad that he decided to move on past the skating; going out on top as the U.S. National Champion will always give him a certain cache. Being forced out because of an injury also gives him a certain sympathy vibe that could help him as well. His celebrity, his family, and his money will give in an entrance into fashion that few others could ever match; that with his inbreed sense of style and taste will make him a player in his own right faster than most but then you through Bellona in as his mentor and watch out... I sort of think he is going to go after Alex, Mary Ellen, and even Elizabeth to some extent. Wouldn't it be a hoot for him to be the one to bring the Black Widow to heel???? Makes me want to go hmmmm.... Will handled everything fairly well in this chapter; but I do think that even Will under estimates JJ and that may come back to bite him and the rest of them... So glad that Ryan is coming up; Will so needed a new wingman, well at least to the point that he needs one at all. The interaction at the party was interesting on a few levels. Damn, could John and his group switch genres and end up being actually good? You know the music business has never really had a staring role in the CAP series; could this be a good entrance to that world? Have never been sure of Buzz and have to say that after this chapter; I am way more unsure of him than ever. When he was asking Will about showing him the gym; I actually had a picture of something similar to what happened occurring but with Will, but this with JJ just really caught be totally off guard. Color me confused... Keep up the Great Wonderful Inspired work, Mark...

Joseph is at the age that getting anything other than a one syllable answer can be down right impossible. Glad to see that they worked at it to get some information. Glad that the Col and his wife are open to Joseph having a same sex relationship appropriate for his age. I am especially enjoying your description of the art work and all the different types of things that can be considered art. Keep up the great work...

Truly a wonderful chapter full of meaning on many levels. I was glad that it was Jackie that took Michael out; in some way it always needed to be her that did it. The way the pack honored and showed their respect for her was amazing. The scene at the cemetery was poignant as well. The Thanksgiving scene at the Alpha couples house was amazing though; the fact that so many of the former feral wolves came to honor them says a lot about how this pack has accepted them and opened their arms and hearts to all of them. The Thanksgiving with Aiden and Ethan and his family was just wonderful. I think the plans for the wedding are spot on but why do I feel something will disrupt one or both of them??? The scene with Ethan getting stripped was just too funny and so well done. I understand why the Alpha assigned the others to stay with and help protect Ethan and Aiden both. They may very well be the future Alpha couple, plus the Council is going to be sticking their noses in as well. I can say that I am really excited that Jean-Pierre contacted Aiden. I really had missed their conversations. Have to wonder if the code is for the computer that they have been trying to break into or could it be for something even more meaningful? Jean-Pierre seemed to hint that Aiden would know how and when to use the code and I sort of doubt he is one of those involved in trying to get into the computer so it might be for something down the road. Keep up the great work, this story is good on so many levels...

A really nice chapter, the pacing was good and it moved the story along in several areas. I really enjoyed the pottery section, I have no talent in that area but I do think the thrown pots are really special when done right. Glad to see that Joseph is going to have a group around him that is supportive and willing to help. The father has done some damage but hopefully it will be repaired by the others. Keep up the good work...

I truly adored this chapter... The writing just flowed and the story was moved along on several different levels. Several different story lines seem to be coming into focus. I was really proud of how well Brad handled this encounter with Marc. I hope that Marc realizes that Brad would make a good friend. I was hoping that Marc would have been able to gain some self-confidence from his relationship with Brad and the fact that Brad and his family set him up so well; but the anger seems to be keeping him from being ready to move on... Might be good for some great art though... LOL... I almost felt this was a little bit of the start to a good bye tour for JP and maybe even Stef. Not just with JP leaving full time teaching and planning to travel and devout some of his time to the new school in Claremont; but from a story side as well. JP has been and at least for me will always be the most important character in the CAP universe. But even I realize that he must give way to a younger generation to bring forth new stories and new levels of drama; I just hope that we continue to glimpse his wit, wisdom, and wonder from time to time... Was so proud of how Will handled his gift to JP and how he got everyone from his generation involved with it without spilling the beans, so to speak. This was truly a great gift and made even better by the true love and affection from which it was given and received. While it doesn't surprise me that Will would be the one from his generation to really keep up with the family foundation, at least the reports; I can say I think that JJ would have been a better candidate for the board than Will. I know Mark, that you said after a review in the last chapter that you did not think JJ cared enough about people to do a good job or be interested enough to get involved, that really isn't something someone on the board would have to be. I know that did not make sense but... It has been my experience with foundations, especially ones controlled or dominated by the family that the board in general is more about setting the general tone of the giving and raising money. I would think that JJ would be an impressive fundraiser with his connections in both the sports world and fashion as well has being champion skater. With a foundation like this, you may have a board member or two that gets really involved in how the money is distributed but in general that is more a staff decision with guidance from the board. Will has so many things going on that I can't ever see him having the time to really be an impressive fundraiser or force on the board at least not for the near future. While JJ being in New York and taking a step back from skating would have more time and the connections to really go to town with something like this... Will may be better at driving the foundation toward doing the right thing but JJ would probably be better at raising money to allow the foundation to do the right thing... Buzz really handled JJ well. I just know that someone primed the pump there so to speak, I would assume either Brad or Stef but we will see. I still can't get a real feeling for Buzz, and I can't wait to meet his son... I have a feeling that Luella may have done more damage than she can image by going to Darius to try and control JJ. JJ may have told Darius that he wouldn't do anything but those final comments and Will insight would seem to indicate that cold day in hell may be coming soon.... Bravo Mark.... :joe:

Glad to see that the "Collective" was able to help Joseph. I am sure that Nick was right and Joseph's father either found out he was gay or just thought he was. Way to many teens have to face that or hide who they are. Glad that they were able to find someone and somewhere safe for him to stay. Really, he has Sam, and the guy with the description you gave turns him on??? Something is wrong there... LOL...

Another chapter full of wonder... Loved the conversation between Ethan and Aiden in bed. I just knew someone had warned Jean-Pierre, but even I did not think it was the Lycan Council Security Director. I have a feeling that is going to cause issues down the line. I sort of hope they spare the Gaelan. I feel sorry for him and I guess some of the others. I have to wonder if Jean-Pierre won't surface and let Aiden know how high up this goes and what the rogue groups connection to the Lycan Council really is... It would be fitting for Jackie to be the one to take Michael's life as she gave him life to start with... sorry for the disjointed review, I am on my phone and it is hard to get this done on it...

:great: Had been out of town and got in this afternoon to find this delightful surprise; and it was just what I needed. I picked right up and can't wait for anything else you have for us... The conversation with Stef and Brad was interesting on several levels. I think that Brad understands Elizabeth better than Wade or anyone else seems to at this point. Stef was right about Will and Brad, as usual. Loved the whole deal with JJ, it was so him and will really reinforce his attitude. I think he might be really good on the foundation actually; charity and fashion have so much more in common than most people realize. JJ will be able to read the motives behind others and it will give him another connection with Claire, which I think is good for them both.... Thanks for the update; hope all is going well...

Truly loved this chapter, I am so enjoying this story and can't wait to see what happens next. The plotting and pacing have been truly excellent. Glad to see how well Ethan and Aiden have handled coming back together. I am sure there will be some residual issues but they have so much support. I do wonder how well Aiden will handle his growing abilities, if he keeps them. I hope that Jean-Pierre comes back into the story in some manner. I really did enjoy his and Aiden's conversations. I to wonder if he was aware something was coming and that is why he left... So many people saw Ethan's abilities and Aiden's to a lesser extent; you have to wonder what the ramifications of this will be??? No one likes an uneven playing field and this pack just got way to powerful overnight... There will be backlash of some type.... What to do with Michael...

I do understand the desire to help others, especially a child or young person but you can't help them all; and sometimes even your best intentions can actually be the worse thing you can do. There are always unseen consequences for every action, not all of them are bad but often you don't see the results for a long time.

Oh, don't we just love the ignorance of others... The writing and timing in this chapter were both first rate. A little surprised that Jorge adjusted quite so quickly to the new surroundings but maybe he had not really been at the condo long enough to get too attached. I think someone is going to get a tongue lashing and not in a good way later... LOL...
