This other group, Virex, or whomever they morphed into is pure evil. Killing innocents just to test our group shows their desperation. I think the fact that Sylvia found the old baselines will end up being an important key to taking them down.

Well, so did not see that coming. Of course, did Big really kill the guy or was he simply unconscious and Curtis and the others killed him to have something to hold over Big's head? How closely would Big have checked while freaking out about all of this. Fellows is an idiot, even if it is just the Serbian mob, you don't just try and blackmail them to get your freedom. You will find yourself wearing concrete shoes going for a short walk off a boat in the Pacific. Is Fellows this stupid, or was he playing Big? So many unanswered questions, but we are finally getting to the meat of what is going on and who is behind the attacks on Travis. Curtis was truly evil, but the lawyers, well really almost all lawyers are truly amoral.

Well, we do not know the extent of the bullying before the fatal encounter between Ed and Claude. But I would guess it had been ongoing and was probably escalating the older they got. Love when Vince and Dawn get together for tea and cakes. They always have the most interesting conversations. Loved the Star Trek reference, but have to say, didn't see Vince as a Trekkie. Graham and Matt are so comfortable with each other in most situations. Not that they don't have that awkward silence from time to time, but they are moving forward evermore. Love that everyone seems to try and do something to help Graham find his footing with this writing. Takes a village to keep a writer going. Let's hope the show does well at the gallery, and maybe gives both he and the artist a leg up. -
Ser Graeme has offered Sam a way out of the village, something he has dreamed of for years. The reason for the offer and why he can now leave with a clear conscience is a tragedy that will continue to haunt his mind for a while to come. Is Sam's decision the right one? Only time will tell, but nothing will ever be the same for him.

Honestly, I almost expected Matthew and Valentine to come to blows. I don't think that Valentine wants Alice back, I think he wants more than a life in the country and staying with Alice would have made that impossible. Matthew wants Alice, but honestly, doesn't seem to have anything to offer her. I despise Tobias.

Hell, sorry but even with the bullying Ed went a little too far, unless there was something much more extensive in the past. Throwing the gloves in the wood wasn't smart, unless he was way off from the killing. The police will do a thorough search of the area. All hell will break lose at school, and while George will as usual want to protect his friends, not sure this is something he can protect Ed from. Marie-Louise will be very popular, at least for a while. -

Ah, so Matthew isn't really sure about his dad and Jason, but he definitely suspects. They should all be honest, I mean I can see him not bringing it up, but hopefully Gavin or Jason will soon. Matthew and Rory had a great conversation and were open and honest with each other. Hope they continue to be there for each other come what may. A thoroughly delightful chapter from start to finish. -

Way to close to losing Sylvie. I keep wondering if there isn't something in what she has of her father's that they have not found yet, or don't realize the importance of it yet. This team can be lethal, but they try not to do so, good for them. That said, those that are coming after them, will continue to up the ante. -

Remy and Marc learned some about each other in different ways. I think they might really be good for each other, if only they could be fully honest and open with each other, not sure that will ever truly happen. So, Remy and Anduin got an extra swab? Ugh, leave it to Claire and Anduin to be total asses, made Pierre feel worse than he already did.

Ser Graeme's offer is true. That said, Sam does not need to accept it. In fact, he probably should do nothing for the next several days but figure out how he feels about the events of the last couple of days. Powerful.

Ser Graeme let Janna the healer through, not only to check and cleanse the wound Sam suffered, but perhaps because he realized that she would be able to reach him when others would not be able to do so. The service was simple and the village Chief spoke eloquently and from the heart. Sam lost his parents, but the village lost friends who were special in their own way to all that knew them.

Tragedy again, but this time born of hate. The missing bandit has taken the life of Sam's mother and father as payment for the death of his three comrades. But it sealed his own fate, falling at the hands of Sam, who killed him in a fury of anger and loss. Sam's first reaction was the need to put his parents to rest. Finding the right spot and working to get it ready. Now comes the hard part, saying goodbye.

Ser Graeme tested Sam, true, not in actual combate but enough to know that he has skill. Mr. Kent taught Sam well.

Sam doubts his ability, but his skills were not needed and Ser Graeme feared more for Sam's safety than he worried about the battle. Neither the Knight nor Sam asked for nor accepted any rewards. They did it for all the right reasons.

Sam learned quickly that the romance of knighthood pales next to the reality of it. Three bandits dead, and one escaped, but the girl has been found.

Tragedy strikes, and the Knight and Sam go off in response. Strikes me that the way the reeve acted that perhaps he did not want to catch the bandits.

I am guessing like others that the knight's face and visage is not pleasant to look upon, but was the scarring from battle or something else? Sam has many questions but wisely holds his tongue.

A young man wanting to leave his small village but held in place by duty and honor. Be careful what you wish for, the wider world is not always a friendly place.

Oh, this exhibit could be important for both Graham and Sacha both. The right exposure in the right gallery could do wonders for both of their work. Really glad that Matt is going to go with Graham and stay in the flat above, if nothing else, just to give Graham some moral support. Maybe help him relax some as well. Hope that Vince, Peter, Freddie can all come over for one day. Hortensia certainly seemed to get things organized. But before any of the attic is truly cleaned out, Vince and Graham have to go through it all. I am really hoping for something about the mystery aunt, maybe their father's diary? Oh, I forgot, Jeremy will do a kick ass job on the beach house. His sense of style will be much more aligned with Travis than Stef will. Stef may not be happy, but he should be. He did such a fabulous job mentoring Jeremy in this that maybe he can past the torch when it comes to some of the younger generation getting their abodes designed.
