  1. Well, this is going to be an interesting one.
  2. A delightful start to a new tale. Seems like an interesting mix of characters, can't wait to see where you take them. First time off at college/university is always good for trying new things and finding out who you really are.
  3. Atticus and John have made their decision and have acted on the first part, or really second part for John. The others are finding that the need for physical contact outweighs most of anything else. Like most closed societies, the EDF tries to control information but as usual nothing travels faster than gossip. Central will be brought low, perhaps in time to save LT. Lewis's sister. The couplings made sense and were hot.
  4. Oh Lord, pregnant at 13? Sandy is a bigger fool that I would have thought, but honestly why isn't she on birth control. Love how she managed to leave out that Michael was blind in her story. And she has managed to get Melvin and Don in major trouble, being labeled a sexual predator at their age will make any time in jail, very uncomfortable. I so want to be Leon when I grow up. Sgt Thomas is one cool dude.
  5. Thanks for the updates, and boxer briefs in general. Got all the words again this week. Woo Hoo. Not wild about ads, but they are necessary evils at times.

    Chapter 13

Well, they can take a little of Cricket's blood, but anything happens to him, I am coming for you. Lydia and Aaven made a connection, but it will have to be strengthened by other visits or a longer one. Can't wait to see what happens next.

    Chapter 51

Sometimes, I swear Marc is a bigger child than any of his own children. Marc and his rocks but is anyone better at getting in and out of them than he is. I wonder if Hunter might have a surprise in store for Marc, after all, he has the same genes.
  8. Ma answered the questions honestly, or as honestly as she could. Louis listened and understood some of it but maybe not all of it but Ma may have well raised a rabble rouser in Louis. Excellent chapter and flowed nicely.
  9. Well, the Mayor did not give nearly as long and blowhard of a speech as I anticipated. And Kurt proved that he wasn't the typical jock with his speech. Tony might have found an ally that could prove to be very useful. An athlete or two supporting a good cause can get it in front of some that might never pay attention otherwise, especially in a sport's mad country like Australia. Often those that come to a new country and embrace its values often seem to understand them and take them to heart much more reverently than those that are born there and take them for granted.

Yes, of course, suffer for your art. But do so by testing how much stamina it takes to have sex with 1300 virile men. LOL Hate to say it, but the current military industrial complex would react just this way. No war, would mean no profit and you can't have that. Can't wait to see how John and Atticus proceed. Thayer annoys me, he truly had no idea what he was doing but just went with it. So going to assume the time frame is moved up to every Sunday now?

    Chapter 8

Well, everything seems to be coming together faster than anyone expected. Word of mouth in a town like that is everything, and it seems the word is out and very positive. Staffing and training are always an issue when opening anyplace like this, especially one that has a few moving parts. Can't wait for Maverick and Jules to get together, I have a feeling that seismologist may be registering the event on their instruments.
  12. Oh, it was, just figured you would kill one of them, and could not see you killing Gennaro and killing Russell would have been too rough, so Ted is dead.
  13. So, Ted is dead, Gennaro survived but says he is retiring, and Russell has years of therapy ahead of him. Can't say I am surprised since I never know what to expect from one of these, that said, I honestly thought it was a little predictable.

    Prologue

Insanity can be it's own form of genius.

    John

Well, I would like to say they could develop some type of rapprochement, but I think they are in such completely different places in their lives now. Dante has found a place that he belongs, and it will prove to be a place that John would not understand or appreciate at all. John may cry out from his gilded cage, but the gilding is gold, and I think he would be hard pressed to handle anything else.
  16. Oh My God, Venomous Venetia, I am so stealing that from @Summerabbacat Well, VV got her comeuppance to some extent, the person that she really wanted to get on her side, acted as if she was out of line and a bit strange for having issues with Vince and Peter. I do wonder what bothered her the most, that Peter is a man, or his background? Graham did a smash up job. He may doubt his ability, but no one else will. And glad that he seems to be coming to terms with his father's memory when dealing with their past issue with his writing. Few things with families are truly simple and this won't be one of them. Matt seems to be happy, even his mother recognizes that Graham is a big part of that. The family dinner was a delight. And I can certainly picture Vince and his growl.

    Freed

Holy Hell, Taylor and Zach at an Escorial Thanksgiving, the place may not survive it. LOL, actually I would suspect they will be less trouble than others. So good to see Stef and JP coming down to pick the others up to bring them home. You know it meant a lot to Travis and the rest. A nurse that looks like a stripper, I guess it will be okay as long as she doesn't act like one. I truly am glad that Travis and Taylor have reached a detente. Maybe they will never be besties, but at least they don't need to try and kill each other. I was wondering where Miranda and Big were, but I guess that Brad was right, no need to involve anyone other than those that had to be in the know. I cannot wait for Thanksgiving dinner.

    John

I just wanted to cry throughout this whole chapter. Dante hasn't changed much but has learned to hold his tongue better.
  19. Oh, I doubt that Atticus really wants to know what happened to Claire or Amy either one. Human contact is essential for survival; at some point you cannot survive without it. That is why solitary confinement is considered such a heinous punishment by many.
  20. A half hour, in what universe. If there is anything that a politician likes more than the spotlight, it is a captive audience, and small-town politicians are the worse. Carol really does seem interested in Tony and what he is doing. She appears to be not only good at her job, but a good person as well. Wonder if Tony could recruit any of the others on the stage to help him. Looks like Tony will be buying a property soon, let's hope it goes well.
  21. Some people never learn, but really, I think some people never try to try to do better. Cute costume idea, and I could understand why it would have won. The three idiots will get their comeuppance in some way or another, anyone that full of hate always does.
  22. As usual, I was so far off to not even be on the right continent. But a richly deserved recognition for a gifted author.
  23. Well, I would have preferred that all the Humans perished, but I guess this works too. Hope the others were able to change Nextworld into a real paradise and that they found a way to exist peacefully with the Humans left there.
  24. We have lost so many, Uall Island and the Mermonster gave their lives to protect this group and try and help the survivors escape. Nuji have her life to save another. Can we make it so that the Humans that have gone to Earth can never return to Nextworld? Can Nextworld be fixed and made to be a better place for all those that now call it home? Can the Earth destroy the Humans that invaded it?

    Chapter 1

What a delicious desert, the perfect way to end the day. Funny and ever so witty, flowed well and the writing was spot on.
