The group is becoming stronger but so much larger. More vampires to feed, more keep hidden, does this make it harder to keep themselves from being discovered. I am surprised that the Brotherhood has not made another move against them. Which animals of the night can they control? Is there any limit to that control?

A wonderful addition to the Hugillverse, stole that from @Summerabbacat. A story full of interesting characters, not all pleasant, that are brought together by @Robert Hugill, in his ever so delightful manner. The weaving of seemingly divergent souls into a seamless tapestry of friendships, love, happiness, and joy. Characters of all ages and backgrounds that seem to come alive and find ways into our hearts in the most unexpected manners. Stop, have a nice drink, and spend some time getting know this wonderful group that you will soon adore as much as we all do.

Epilogue: Christmas Day
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Epilogue: Christmas Day
What a real delight, I am truly going to miss these new friends. I do hope we get a view of them at some point in the future, and what a bright future it is for one and all.- 13 comments

Marc will be a myth of his own making soon. He will pull Adam and both corporations along with him. Nice to have friends is high places and all over.

That was not what I was implying at all. And honestly, I find your comments rather offensive.

A really interesting start to this new story. Can already tell who we dislike and why. I would not trust Uncle Boob around Domenico's money at all. Can't wait to see how this develops, truly a set up that could go in several directions. And already more than a little interesting.

Love Raffa's parents, they are both a hoot. This is what Grayson's first time should have been like. Grayson and Raffa seem to connect on so many levels, but glad they are physically compatible as well. LOL Can't wait to see what happens next.

Balar seems more jealous and possessive than brutish during this encounter. Let's hope that Griffin can help Peter learn to defend himself. He doesn't have to defeat Balar, just make the cost of victory too high for him to want to come after him.

I just love to follow and see what our talented authors come up with and that our equally talented staff presents.

I know it might short circuit the whole story, or it might have to go in another direction, but I truly think Claire should have an unfortunate accident.

Orion still isn't loving the cruises, but he loves Tanner and Quinn and can tell how much they enjoy them. Seems to have a nice core group to do things with, and that has to help some. The new domicile sounds WOW and is packed with a few really nice things. Two laundry rooms are a great idea. These three are amazing when they come together.

While we have so much of his work, @Comicality had so much more to give. -
Celebrations, of a sort
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Celebrations, of a sort
Honestly, a very healthy way to raise children. Don't be ashamed of your body. I so do hope that Graham makes an appearance when it is just Ludo and Arthur, I would think it would be an interesting interaction. Jackie may have helped herself and sounds like Andreas's goose is cooked. Glad that Ludo, Arthur, and the boys are going off on an adventure to Hansi's. Love this. -
Marc and Adam are heading down a long twisty road, but with Marc behind the wheel, I suspect they will arrive at their intended destination with only a few bumps and bruises. Each person in each family will have their parts to play, but they will march to Marc's drummer or hell just might freeze over, easy enough to do in space.

I have to admit that Animal was the first person that I suspected of being behind the attack on Grayson. That felt more adult and planned than what I would have expected from Tom. Glad that the results all came back negative, but some caution should still be warranted. That said, Grayson and Raffa can take their budding relationship to the next level. Mike might well be worried about Animal turning on him as well, might do everyone some good to have him look at the pictures. First meeting with Grayson's family, minus dad, went well. Olly is a great kid. Love it.

When the story started, it was the 1840's, and the first four chapters seemed to take place in a fairly compact time frame; but this chapter indicates that it is the start of the 20th century, did we have a large time jump? Love how art and architecture can connect them to the part of themselves that are still human. Great art and design are more important to the human spirit than most give it credit for. The mugger seemed more crazy than a thief, attacking two men with a butcher knife would seem out of sorts for someone trying to get money.

Thank you, some great stories and authors.

OMG, I truly feel that Marc is a true Maestro conducting Mahler's Seventh Symphony. For fans of classical music, you realize the significance of this, and those that aren't, well shame on you. So many people to navigate, I do find Arthur Knight to be intriguing. What does he know or what has he done in the past that gives him a idea of how this is going to play out. Marc seems to have this well in hand but can't wait to see what happens next.

Somewhere between Lover, Brother and Slave
centexhairysub commented on Celian's story chapter in Somewhere between Lover, Brother and Slave
Frank's hormonal growth is by leaps and bounds, and Dante realizes that there is much more to Frank that meets the eye. Everyone sort of dismisses Frank, and I think Tom is right, but does that really mean that Alice has to give up her happiness to protect him? So many interesting things occurring all at once. So many paths strewn out in front of them all, which will they take and how will it impact others. A brilliant chapter. -
Local Attention Broadens

No good deed goes unpunished. Even doing the right thing can lead to more issues than you can ever imagine. What a serendipitous meeting between two truly unique individuals. -

A delightful tale, ah youth... -
Even though this seems to be rushing to a close, let's hope there are return visits or vignettes left to see. Therese has actually grown quite a bit during the story, not sure all of it is truly sincere, but there is growth. Ralph and Nolan are making headway. I actually think Nolan having a space within the house that is his, will be a boon for both of them. The girls are a delight and would love to see how they handle Christmas et al, as well as the trip to Malta. The less said about Ralph's parents the better, some people just cannot be helped. Going to miss this one a great deal.

Holy Crap, did hell just freeze over? Shocked that Jeremy would actually get down on his knees in public for anything. I can only hope that he meant everything that he said. He still has a way to go, but this was a huge gesture on his part. He is so phobic about anything in public that would affect his image. I think what Travis has said really impacted Jeremy, I truly do not think he realized how much he hurt Will and Brad both. My issue with all of this has been that I don't think either of them realized how much the news that he had no blood connection to them, shook him. I know that his biological parent is Crampton, but then JP isn't by blood a Crampton and therefor none of the rest are either. I mean they have the name but nothing else. I don't think anyone has really seen Jeremy's side to this fully in this story. Here he was floating in his own little bubble only to have it burst in one of the worst ways possible. His father, Brad, isn't his father, and his father, Jim, is a total ass that he has really never had any connection toward. What Jeremy said was wrong on so many levels but what he was going through at that moment simply precluded him from thinking of anything or anyone else. Will handled this better than I thought. Not sure I would have expected him to bump into Jeremy in the middle of Harvard Yard and be able to deal with it this logically. Yes, it rattled him, he probably will truly need Sarah's notes, but his actions while talking to Jeremy and afterward spoke volumes. Still not sure that sleeping with Thor is a smart move, I would be afraid that he could go Fatal Attraction at the drop of a hat. Glad that Travis is coming to Will this weekend, it may help him regain some of his equilibrium. WOW, @Mark Arbour, just WOW.

Raffa is a good one. While I don't exactly feel sorry for Tom, I don't think from his reaction that he had anything to do with the attack on Grayson. Could it have been some friends of his acting on his behalf, yes, but without his knowledge I would think. I think Tom acted the way he had been taught and was honestly shocked that his behavior came back on him. It might be a wakeup call for him. Let's hope someone recognizes the car or the occupants, someone that has gone as far as they have, may not stop.
