This is one of the biggest issues that I have with this story in this magnificent saga. I truly have not been able to figure out why no one in the family, full of smart people, seem to realize how shattered Jeremy was when he found out about his parentage. So much of his identity was tied up in who he was and his relationship to his family; and that was just all yanked away from him in the blink of an eye. I am not saying that what he said was okay, but almost everyone seems to act as if Jeremy's statements just came out of thin air and as if nothing prompted his reactions. There is an idea that somehow what he said was in a vacuum and nothing occurred before or afterwards mattered but what he said. For some of the supposedly smartest people in business, scholastics, and well just life, they all have seemingly missed a huge portion of the equation at least to me.

Well, let's start at the bottom, so to speak. LOL Love Will's speech to Thor's family, it is what we all want to say at some point while discussing our lives or someone close to us; just written so much better than what we could ever come up with. Loved Nils, and that little brother jab, but of course, he was the first one to step up and support his brother. Glad how well Ingrid and Lars reacted as well, and Lars also just had the perfect thing to say to make me want to cry. Isn't it just like Stef and JP to bring Fab's mother over from France? And then Matt and Wade immediately opened their home up to not only her but Scotty's family as well. Noblesse Oblige lives in this family and is truly something they live by. Was certainly hoping to get Stef into the economics class, can't wait to see how the professor reacts. Claire is totally wrong, but as long as she is convinced that she is right, nothing will change. While Jeremy has to continue to work this out with the family, I do wish they would on some level acknowledge how upset he was finding out about his parentage as well. I am surprised that Will was so shocked that Jeremy wanted him around at the next outing. He stood up for Jeremy when DoorGate occurred and Jeremy is just so vulnerable right now mentally, he will want all the support he can get. I do think that the Foundation will do something to help the artist out, and not just for public relations sake. Jeremy more than most knows what it is like to suffer for your talent and what you have to give up and how much a break can mean. Don't get me wrong, for Jeremy it is probably a 60/40 split between public relations move and really wanting to help the artist, and let's get real, the 60 % is about him but the rest isn't bad either. As always, the perfect way to end a stressful week, a joyous look into some truly fascinating lives... Thank you as always, @Mark Arbour

Rod Apologizes and Domenico Returns
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Rod Apologizes and Domenico Returns
Well, I am glad that Rod tried to make amends with the guys, and glad that he talked to Dr. Paulson, but I don't think he shows in change in his feelings. His homophobia may be based more on how he was raised and his family, but only he can change his outlook and move away from that, and he has to want to do that, and I don't see any signs of that being the case. We can hope. I am glad that the Aunt Carmela reached out, but honestly, it should not have taken something like this for her to do so. I hope that Uncle AssHat has nothing to do with anything tied to Domenico's inheritance. I truly dislike him and would not trust him period. Let's hope that Domenico continues to improve, counseling and support from his friends and Aunt should help, but he needs to work on helping himself some as well, continued counseling will be a necessity. -
Can't wait...

So, Dust and Kellen do still each have an attraction to the other. A few years and a lot of changes haven't killed that physical attraction. Wonder if the tension will help or interfere with the current investigation. And just how long till one of the other makes a move to rekindle the physical side of the relationship, and which will it be? And just how do you lose all of your magical ability? And can it be brought back? So many little interesting things to find out. Why was this place picked for this, and what is the bigger plan? Why did some age backward and other's age forward. And why is the bar owner's so anti magic? Just bigotry or something more sinister? Will humans ever learn that hate solves nothing. -
I can understand both Raffa's initial reaction and Grayson's reaction to that; but possible without even realizing it, Raffa was testing Grayson to see how he handled the idea of him not being able to walk going forward. Raffa's first instinct may be to push Grayson away, but he really want's Grayson to prove that he will be there for him. Grayson needed to think and get his feeling sorted out. Leandro's call was the kick in the pants that he needs. Not only Raffa, but they all need to have the belief that things will get better. Grayson's parents are so good to him.

Casting bread on the waters
centexhairysub commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Casting bread on the waters
Graham is working to find a way to follow his dreams and find a way to afford him the ability to do so. Let's hope that he is able to do so. We all deserve the chance to do what we love and make a living doing so. So, Freddie has a head for numbers, maybe he will find a way to help Graham, and his father make this situation affordable for them both. Freddie came out at least to some extent with Graham, and you know he will keep it to himself. Vince may have fought against his father's pernicious influence, but some of it has seeped into his thoughts and behaviors. Matt gives Graham a boost just when he really needs it. Perhaps the post cards and a killer idea, you can make a killing at them if you can get a good market going on. -
As always Vladimir and Constantine lead, with Thomas, Alexei, and Etienne loyally following. But there seems to be a subtle shift, in some instances, Constantine not Vladimir seems to be the final arbitrator and in others it flips. Remy may be a vampire, but how was he turned, and what is his true feelings on being turned. I would like to take him at his word, but in this world, can that ever be a smart move? What knowledge and power will be unveiled; will the family stay united in the face of it?

A Leash for the Pride...
centexhairysub commented on Celian's story chapter in A Leash for the Pride...
Let's hope Dante has learned some part of a lesson, although not sure that he is the only one that needs to learn a lesson. Ah, so what everyone believes happened isn't what happened. How much does Frank remember? And what the hell really did happen? Did Blaise hide the truth and an innocent man die because of it? Frank would come unglued if Alice decided to sell Dante, I know he would have a fit, but would it be enough to keep her from doing so? Let's hope we don't have to find out. Henry just needs to try and stay out of Alice's way for the time being, well really all the ladies. Someone should have been forthcoming with what happened in the past, some of this could have been avoided. Dante would have still probably said something, but maybe not gone on to the extent that he did. Loveing this story. -
Don Opens Up and The Psych Ward
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Don Opens Up and The Psych Ward
Donald should not feel guilty, but that doesn't mean that he won't for a while. What happened was clearly not his fault, it just brought forward what was probably going to happen anyway. Domenico needs to come to terms with some of what has happened in the past year, losing his whole immediate family and then not being able to properly grieve isn't something you just get over. This will be something that requires time, counseling, and coming to terms with what happened. Plus, he needs to realize that even is Uncle Asshole doesn't care about him, there are others that do care. Let's hope that Bill and Gene do get along well, and that Gene can be a nice addition to the group of friends. Bill wants to spend some time with Jake and that is probably a smart move. I have to wonder how much Rod's behavior is really what he thinks and how much of it is influenced by what he has heard and been around with his family. I would suspect parental behavior is behind much of his actions, but that doesn't mean he can't change, but he is going to have to decide if he wants to make the effort. -
February CSR Discussion Day: Just Keep Swimming by JJ Quinn
centexhairysub commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I just love getting these glimpses into the different authors and how they think and come up with stories. I just admire the fact that they are so willing to put themselves out there. -
Unfortunately, Raffa's reaction is all not that unusual in this type of situation. Let's hope he can move past his initial reaction; Grayson truly cares for him and will stand by him no matter what. Grayson can't force this issue; however, he needs to let Raffa come to grip with some of this first; but can't let it drag on indefinitely. Chase is right, Grayson has a lot of people that will be there for both of them. Raffa's condition might get better, there can be bruising and inflammation that can inhibit his feeling as well. Let's just all hope for the best.

Loved this chapter, sitting here reading it while listening to Queen's performance at Wembley for Live Aid. Agree the banter between Toby and Justin was just spot on. That practiced nonchalance that is so hard to pull off, but teens seem to do so easily. Brian and Gordon wanting to mark Toby's big day, seems like Therese never made a big deal, but the boys want to do something, but hard to figure out what a teenager really wants. I like the idea of two events, one ice cream and treats for a larger group, and then a few of the lads doing something really special that they might all enjoy, but especially Toby. I sort of bet that Russ, or more likely his P.A. will get him a little something. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Weekly Wrap Up (Feb. 16 - Feb. 22)
centexhairysub commented on wildone's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Woo Hoo, I was 7 for 7 on words of the day. I did watch some of all the games, but honestly only the first and last period in the final. I personally like a little skating with my violence when it comes to hockey. And yes, I got two blogs the last two weeks, but not today. As always, thanks for the round up. -
Marc and Adam will have more than a bit to discuss if they ever get to the same place and the same time. Marc needs to understand that not everyone is on his wavelength and not everyone instinctually understands what is was doing before he does it. Yes, Adam should have listened to him after the disaster of Casi Oceanus, but Captain Armstrong must bear some of the blame for that one. Marc has been more merciful than the pirates ever were, and history is told by the survivors, and we know that Marc is that.

Wish someone had the brains, foresight, and integrity to do something like this group is in the Gulf of Mexico now, of course with the current idiots they lack all three and would not care that they might be helping the environment and the plant. Oh well, we can always hope that the human race decides to grow up one day but not holding out much hope. Love that Orion, Quinn, and Tanner just keep getting closer and more together.

Let's hope they have been able to move Raffa to a lower level of care in the hospital. Let's all cross our fingers. Glad that Grayson gets along with Raffa's family this well. Grayson's father has surprised me by how far he has come this quickly, I do think he needs some therapy but that is just me. So, Chase met the family, and it went really well. I just love Olly. Honestly, surprised how the workplace is handling all of this, in the USA they would not be so nice.

Well, dammit, the best laid plans of Grandma's and men...

Loved this chapter, so Emmett came out of the closet, so to speak. Finley was his usual unperturbable self. Tony advised of more drama coming there way. The Coven has a history with dragons, and not a good one, but really if you can't get over it after 800 years, it is on you more than the dragons.

With a live as long as this group has, I would embrace every form of the arts and immerse myself in them.

Probing into Domenico's Psyche
centexhairysub commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Probing into Domenico's Psyche
Domenico needs to deal with the death of his family, the doctor is probably right, being so isolated kept him from doing so. Bill wants away from Rod, and Gene is probably would be a good roommate, and might fit in well with the group. Hope this group can deal with the issues and stay friends and together. -
Ah, the Fox Goddess has been betrayed, and Cale was right. I would not want to be this Zal Azuna when this comes to light, and it will now. Dante was able to make sure his son is safe, how did he explain just being able to appear when he was a world away? Is his human family aware of his abilities and what is hidden behind the veil? Why pick this moment to involve himself personally in Tani's life, I know Cale called him, but why follow Tani and Dante back to the Conservatory? Can't wait to see what happens next.
