G not knowing his financial status and needing help sorting it out seems stereotypical. Luckily the nephew is competent as attested by V. It was mentioned about an audio book and perhaps that should be pursued.

Vince's peace offering was interesting.

Gray and Matt are regularly getting together and getting to know each other. Vince somehow found out Freddy shaved down there and confronted Gray. I was smiling during the whole exchange and laughed out loud when Vince stripped and promptly exited!

Vince is more perceptive than I expected as he sensed there was more to the poet's termination and the letter mentioning a shouting match with Norbert seems to admit that.

Freddie is a revelation. Most fifteen year old teens would be painfully shy around a not very well-known naked uncle. Speculation that he is gay is just that as the younger generation seems much more fluid. That the stuffy lawyer partner has a life was a revelation to the poet and one I suspect involves more to be revealed. Still enjoying the story, and on to the next chapter!

Clarity as to why the poet came home and now plans to try staying there. Still awaiting the appearance of the 15 year old nephew, I wonder if his looks take after his father or his uncle? Perhaps the poet's muse will be invigorated and he shall spew forth in verse? Actually, this is the first of Robert's stories that I've gotten into and am looking to see where he takes us!

The controlling and vindictive patriarch remains a force even after death. I speculate that the poet and teacher left his post at UEA to live in the family home at the urging of his brother so as not to lose it. I also wonder about the grandson. The bird watcher seems a bit of a loner too and yet they connected and shared bread with plans to meet again.

I hoped for clarity and it happened. James moving to California with his dad at age sixteen forced the break-up. Long distance relationships rarely work out and even more rarely at their age. So James exhibited maturity by breaking it off. Hopefully they both can move on after grieving the broken connection. The vintage car is also a concern.

Jeremy is a diva and thankfully Kris knows how to distract him. Travis is getting stuck in the closet and Will has too much experience with boyfriends like that. But Travis and he have a very long and deep connection. So it's complicated and probably going to get more so. All of Thor's problems won't be solved by coming out to his family, and I suspect it will lead to some more drama on his part. Fabio is the smooth operator and his interest in Wade and Matt teaching him more about threesomes was probably not in jest.... More please!

I think the guess that Will is behind the CAWS trust is spot on. The suggestion that Jeremy sponsor a replacement art exhibit seems logical, but Mark doesn't usually do what's expected. Most freshmen in college as young as Will, think everything is all about them. I wonder why anyone finds that unusual? That Travis was able to put a different point of view on it for Will was great. And that Will noticed Travis' reaction to Zach's football showed how attuned they are to each other. The invite and the agenda including going to the gay club where the stalker has hung out does seem a little chancy, but perhaps Travis' ninja can reel him in if he takes the bait... More please!

JJ (Jeremy if you insist) is on meds and they are helping to at least control the mood swings and mellow him out a bit. That is progress. However, he needs to continue to get counseling so that he can process that as progress and learn to build from there. So far, Kris and Travis have been good at providing appropriate feedback and reaction. I think Will is smart enough to know JJ is using Travis as a source of info about him and he certainly is asking Travis about JJ. I'm beginning to wonder when Mark will get around to letting us know how Kris is doing with his carrying on with his assumed heritage and if or when he will jump to one of the Schluter companies.... The suite redo is going well. Will is enjoying tutoring Thor in the finer art of orgasmic inducing behavior and has enlisted Fabio for a master class in threesomes. Sounds sensational! The physical description of the therapist didn't inspire my confidence, but the session went well and was handled professionally. Jonah definitely has issues regarding his father which he can chose to not let them dominate his life and she showed him one coping technique. The party could be drama filled.

I like to think JP and Granger are Mark's wannabes. He is an historian and I think these character are all part of what he thinks and would hope to be like in a similar situation. And that is in part why he has been so successful in sustaining both series for so long.
