The physical description of the therapist didn't inspire my confidence, but the session went well and was handled professionally. Jonah definitely has issues regarding his father which he can chose to not let them dominate his life and she showed him one coping technique. The party could be drama filled.

I like to think JP and Granger are Mark's wannabes. He is an historian and I think these character are all part of what he thinks and would hope to be like in a similar situation. And that is in part why he has been so successful in sustaining both series for so long.

Will spent his time in class after bumping into JJ overthinking everything as usual. He really does try to analyze his family and their motives from every possible nuanced angle. Sitting down on the bench with JJ and JJ's apology was so well drawn it was like watching a movie. Will was obviously touched but still processing his feelings and invited JJ to see Stef's redo of the dorm suite. When he introduced JJ as his brother, it touched a nerve for both of them. The call to Travis with Will telling Travis to stay with JJ and come visit Boston for the weekend was just the right note to end the chapter. Thanks for sharing and as always: More Please!

Pointedly, it had to be Travis that explained things to JJ. That he started by explaining his own relationship to his brother and sister and how he has demanded that Will abide with his walls was key to getting JJ to understanding how Will felt betrayed. Marie's timing in getting together and discussing things with Will was superb and she struck just the right note with him. Travis practicing his lines with JJ was the point that put the kettle on the boil. An altogether well constructed chapter leaving me wanting more!

Thank you Bill. It remains a deep gulf of mournful regret that we didn't get to see his take on events in his planned stories. Hopefully from his higher plane he can see a society that manages to muddle through.

I'd almost forgotten this story and so glad to see it resumed! Your writing is a pleasant distraction from real world acts of violence and terror along with the fury of mother nature. Dealing with zombies is violent, but the point of the story seems to be people taking care of each other.
