  1. The chapter was excellent. It was gripping but still a very fast read. I really look forward to the epilogue and CJ's plans for his next opus! Thanks again!
  2. Wow! Great job! Thank-you CJ!
  3. As I noted in my profile, it's already tomorrow for most of the world................
  4. I have the ultimate guilty pleasure----reading stories on GA!
  5. It's already tomorrow in more than half the world.......

    Chapter 11

Whew! Good news. May 17th or May 18th 2012 is already past for us..... Thanks for your story Dolores. I will be looking to see what happens next!
  7. Tony and Will do seem to have ongoing problems. I was surprised Will decided to go back to the float after the confrontation when they went to get ice. That Will let Carmine do him and then the way he responded to Tony seemed to forcefully confirm their status was down graded to fuck buddies. I don't see Tony going to Hawaii with Will.
  8. But again, the a-n-t-i-c-i-p-a-t-i-o-n is nerve wracking and I think I'm down to my last nerve!

    Chapter 43

Welcome back! The hiatus was nothing compared to some other authors with the initials CJ who has made us wait an unbelievable length of time! The plan is interesting in what was not revealed. The orders George left for Calvert were not revealed with any detail and could prove interesting. What awaits them in Calcutta is completely open to speculation and then George and his much shrunk retinue are planning to make a difficult crossing. I am not sure how Winkler will hold up nor the weakened Granger for that matter. As usual!

    Life Update

Glad to hear you and Paya are taking advantage of living in London. I think I could spend weeks just in the British Museum alone not to mention all the other museums, galleries and historic churches and sites. When we visited for a week in January 1986, it was great because it wasn't tourist season and we didn't have to waste time in lines.
  11. I find it interesting that the three National League teams are all relatively small market clubs and yet are fielding some of the best baseball in the majors. I think one player on the Yankees (A-Rod) makes more than the entire Pittsburgh pitching rotation including relievers and the closer.

    Chapter 12

Wow! Tony found his backbone and bailed on Dana! It was about time. Tony's friends appear shallow for the most part. Hopefully, sober and on the river will be more interesting.
  13. Happy Birthday Stu & May you enjoy it with friends and lovers!
  14. The Cards, the Reds, the Rangers, and the Pirates sit a top all of baseball standings in that order as of Sunday morning. Who'd of thought the National League Central would be so dominant through the first third of the season?

    Chapter 5

The story is a very fast read and now I must wait for some more! I can't wait to see where Delores takes us next. For some great writing!

    Chapter 1

Perhaps help was in the same building. I think our poor protagonist has more to undergo before he really gets to understand what is going on. Good hook Dolores, now on to chapters 2-4 which are up.
  17. First, Granger was sent to appolnt a new governor and replace Bertie. Bertie's plan to go to India may have to be scrapped. Dealing with the stolen correspondence is a priority. Granger's other ship and the large sum of silver they should have may figure into his options as well. Finally, the young Dutchman may also be of value. Mark has made Oddessy into a truely surprised filled tale. Now we must wait and I hope not too long!

    Chapter 42

George's fever did peak and the recovery has started as I predicted in my review of Ch.41. The way Mark conveyed that was astonishingly well done. Also we now have learned of Maidstone's duplicity and his stealing of Bertie's correspondence. Catching the Bacchante does seem to be a problem. Perhaps Granger's other ships will arrive soon. Still not looking forward to the hiatus after this chapter, but certainly understand. More than usual the current chapter is certainly !
  19. I'm old school. I think of a sizzlin' T-bone hot off the grill!
  20. Glad to hear that your health is improving and progressing on track. I am sorry to hear about the break-up. You are both in my continued prayers.

    Chapter 11

Well I recognized all the St. Louis places except the Venice Cafe. McConnell's does have awesome hamburgers. I'm surprised Tony didn't drag Will to Blueberry Hill? In 2001 it wouldn't have been impossible for them to catch Chuck Berry..... Tony is a doormat when it comes to Dana and until he decides differently will continue to be walked over. Dana is a controlling bitch. Having read your note about no more chapters in the pipeline, I am resigned to the impending hiatus.
  22. I've long supported the BSA while privately decrying their stand on gay scouts and leaders. That change happened doesn't surprise me. It was the right thing to do and the BSA finally moved into the 21st century. My son is an Eagle Scout and is 33 years old. He never could understand the ban on gay scouts. His generation and those younger mostly recognize it's a factor that people are born with and not a choice. And like he said, "...even if it was a choice, whose business is it except theirs anyway?"

    Chapter 41

Maidstone is indeed probably up to something. Nothing was said of George's other ships....and when they were expected...Hmmmm. George's fever and symptoms have peaked and I expect he will start to recover from this point. Still much to be resolved. As usual, and I of course want more, and soon!
  24. It seems you do not lack drama in your life right now. I pray that you experience some serenity and that your karma becomes more favorable. In the meantime, my only advice is to keep on keeping on. It's all you can do sometimes.
  25. Will has already thought through the fact that he and Tony aren't ready for an exclusive long-distance relationship. He also has come to realize he can beat himself up over Tony's inability to fully deal with his own sexuality but in the end it is Tony's problem. That Will has to deal with Tony's clinging "girlfriend" is something Will probably will find a way not to do. If she pushes into it, she just may get a taste of Will famous temper....
