    You did a great job on the dialogue. The bantering was typical and fun and since they were talking about sex, the inevitable adjustment had to be made.

    Cards were shut-out tonight by the Pittsburgh Pirates before a paid crowd of less than 10,000 fans--9570 per ESPN. By far the smallest crowd to see a Card's game this season. At home they average 41,637. On the road their average was 34,148. No wonder they call Busch Stadium, the home of the Cardinals "Baseball Heaven!"

    NBC Nightly News did their closing piece on this showing those very dogs and that patient as well. Dogs are a blessing!

    It was too shocking, but the stories of Bostonians taking in visitors, and rushing to help were inspiring too. My only suggestion is don't let fear change you or the terrorists win. My prayers are for all the victims and their families and friends.

    Cards took 2 out of three from Cincy including a shutout on Wednesday. On Friday and Saturday they took the first two in the series agains the Brewers again with shut-outs. These guys are stingy. I was at the game on Saturday and the weather was sunny and perfect. The stadium was full and Wainwright was beyond impressive. Pitched the full game got the shut-out and also got 3 hits as well. St. Louis really is baseball heaven. :krista:

    I'm so glad that Devon was still Devon underneath all the "attitude" he had when he arrived at the airport. A nice ending for this part of the saga!

    Well the three game opening series with the Reds is over. While we lost the first game in the 9th inning, we won yesterday 5-1 and today we won 10-0. So I guess the Cards are doing ok so far! GO CARDS!

    I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere along the story line Mark does introduce us to a character uninvolved with Will that in a subsequent story (say when Will is 18 or 19) becomes Will's forever mate. He does seem to like to introduce characters for a point, even if it isn't apparent in that book.

    I remember watching the Mickey Mouse club when it first came on and she was one of the original Mouseketeers. She grew up on tv and while her movie career was not academy award stuff,they did make a profit. The thing about Annette was she was so likeable and decent. When she revealed she had MS it was a tragedy. Yet she faced it with bravery and dignity, not whining or self-pity. She had class.

    Never had any and it never much mattered. I was way to deep in the closet and still haven't even really thought about finding a way out.

    We did win yesterday and we were winning today until the disaster of the 9th inning. But it's a long season. Last year we won the series against the Reds and by the end of the season we should do it again. But it is baseball, injuries happen and anything is possible. That's what makes it so special when a winning season ends with a pennant and trip to the World Series where we have Won eleven times!

    Like most smart, talented 17 year olds, Micah thinks he has most things figured out. And like most of them he will be surprised at how much he has to learn over the next 5-10 years and then every year thereafter.
