Here's an Idea: A lot of people don't know how many GLBT people there really are. Many of our brothers and sisters are shamed or intimidated into staying in the closet. Here's something that you can do without actually coming out and still make a serious statement. For every $1 bill you get, give ole George a stash and eyebrows. After we get a few zillion of these out there and everybody has seen them, we let it be know that these are GAYBUCKS.

I typically don't write sex scenes and leave the hot, messy, wet stuff to the readers imagination. Everybody knows how to have sex or can figure it out relatively easily. You can quickly run out of material for sex scenes- after all there's only so much you can do and just so many positions. The real magic is in the dynamics between people. That is a well that will never run dry.

Aaron is one of the more interesting characters that you'll run into. Obviously he is a villain, the natural foil for Luke, but he is not the classic evil-for-evils sake over the top villain. He is a more realistic type villain who is quite ordinary in all respects. His "evil" doesn't stem from malice but selfishness and bad choices. He is like everyone is at 16: boy/man asked to make mature/immature choices. Aaron consistently choses the easy path-- the path to instant gratification, superficial acceptance and away from conflict. Perhaps the reason that the character Aaron resonates with so many people is that there's a little bit of him in all of us. -

I've gotta hand it to you Luc- those are some happy looking kitties! Quite at ease and comfortable in their own furr. My poor kitty is a little psycho. Some kids were mean him as a kitten so he's real shy and skitish with everyone but me. With me it's a different story. He's at ease and sleeps; snoring like a freight train. Let a stranger enter the house and he turns on his cat cloaking device. It's really quite remarkable to see.

Naked is cool but its a lot like speedo. Those that should wear speedo never do and those that should never wear speedo often do. I think it's a corollary of Murphy's Law. We actually worked out a mathmatical proof called the Theorm of Probability of Appropriate Speedo Wear on another board. JS

Study: Sexual Desire is in Your Genes

There may be some confusion over the thesis of this article. By sexual desire, the authors refer to libido- not orientation. In the debate between nature and nurture on the origin of homosexuality, I base my argument on experience rather than experiment. If it couldn't be beaten out of me, it had to be nature. I would have no sooner chosen to be gay than to grab a red-hot pot on a stove. The pain involved would have been quite enough incentive to make a different "choice". -

I don't know the guy but I'm sure he isn't going to be problematic. The vast majority of shrinks know that 18 isn't too young to know that you are gay. In fact, most people I know will tell you that they knew before 10. You are just so young is one of the many things parents grasp at while they are in denial. Don't worry- it is NOT the worst by far. You could be in one of the X-gay concentration camps.

I've always loved this story- and theEggman too. The Eggman is a serious activist for the rights of gay people and a darned good writer. If you should happen to run across him, treat him with respect. He's earned it! JS
