    I have to admit that I felt slightly let down. It felt as if Beau and the Senator both took the news much too well. Maybe it's just my twisted mind but I was expecting more fireworks. That being said Matt handled the situation so so well. I personally would have had a lot less self control so Kudos to him. I hope that Beau will be alright because I wouldn't put it past the senator to do something to him to influence Wade and Matt if only for revenge... he just doesn't seem the type who would just roll over. Watching with interest.

    Everyone there knows about Cam so I think he should go. I think Robbie should go to rub their faces in the fact that Matt has a new father and doesn't need them and I think Steff and/or JP should go for the same reason. Of course if Lou went they could put on a great show and if Wade was up for coming out it would soooo rub their faces in it.

    My experience in a VERY traditionally heterosexual (maybe rabidly might be a better word) backwater of hicksville, having a VERY out gay daughter is that many many more people than I thought are not only gay but openly so. It may of course very well be the case that my daughter, being gay would naturally gravitate towards other gay people but more than half of her friends are gay or bi. Having been a solicitor for almost 20 years with only one gay client in all that time I am noticing that I have far more these days... I have four at the moment. I don't know whether this is a sign of there being more people who are being open about it, or whether I am noticing it more... or something else entirely... just my thoughts.

    The really freaky part, one that I am exploring in one of my stories... is when people have been physically and sexually abused sometimes they can only have an orgasm when that it reproduced, or when they are recreating it in their minds. Rape as a kink or sexual fantasy is not as uncommon as you might think. Although I don't think, from the story so far that this is something that Matt is going to have to deal with.

    That was awesome, truly a great chapter. I think we are all pretty sure we know what is going to come next but still... I am liking Wade a lot. He is one of your most...'real' characters and he is making Matt more 'real' too. The others are all larger that life and even in their imperfections they are perfect. Wade is also larger than life in his way but he is flawed and vulnerable and hurt and he is brining out the caring side of Matt's nature and it is beautiful to watch. I am looking forward to the next chapter a lot.

    Sorry to hear about another bereavement James but glad you managed to have a good thanksgiving. I think you deserve some rest and I am looking forward to reading Valhalla. Strangely enough my inspiration for the Winter anthology entry came at my uncle's funeral in August.
