Yes, I agree. I think the story is the thing. I am all about the story... I live eat sleep and breathe the story... after all life is a story and part of that story is sex... for some a big part and for others not so big. When I am telling my story I just tell it. Sometimes the characters end up in bed, sometimes they don't. As you say... if you don't like it don't read it. I do think there is a line though... which is why I was concerned about my latest story and I am still not entirely convinced that it is not going a bit too far but hey... life's all about taking risks.
yes, MJF was adorable... a bit short for me though.. I like the enigmatic dark types... bad boys if you will.. Cute doesn't really do it for me as you just know they are not going to like it when you chain them up and drip wax on them and I don't want to be afraid of breaking my man... or woman.
In the UK we don't have thanksgiving, just Christmas, although if you are pagan you also celebrate on 21st December a festival called Yule.
Holidays are on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (the day after) and most people who are working finish half day Christmas Eve and have an office party.
On Christmas Day it's mostly about opening present, eating and Drinking then falling asleep in front of the TV when the Queen gives her speech.
Hehe... yeah I forgot that... I write notes too... not in advance but I keep track of timelines and names and that sort of thing... lose them, find them, realise half way through I have changed the name of the main character... decide I like the new name better, go back and replace, miss at least one... and then carry on
I prefer writing on paper and I do it a lot.. on the train, at work, wherever I am not near a computer... but then it has to be typed in so it's kind of pointless. I wrote a whole lot when my computer was down and I haven't got around to typing it all in yet. So although I prefer to write I don't very often becuase is't just twice the work
A Tiger AND a Lone Wolf... now that sounds an interesting combination.
Loving ya babe... teeth claws and all... and here's to a fun and rewarding third year
I never, ever saw my parents do anything more than kiss. I think they only ever did it twice... once for my sister and once for me.
My funny stories are the other way around. I remember when my daughter was 13 she asked me... as you do... what kinds of things it was safe to use to masturbate and whether she could put them inside. I gave her the usual (at least I think it is) lecture about washing her hands and keeping her nails short... and she went on to ask about this vibrating pen thingie.... I had to throw it away.. I just couldn't even think about it... I bought her a proper one... the smallest I could find.
Then when she was 17/18 just before she left for college... she told me that whenever I was having sex she could hear it clearly and she and her friends when they were having sleepovers used to listen in. We never had sex when she was in the house again.
Do you have to sit down and 'tell them'. If you do that you will be stressed and they will pick up the atmosphere and be worried that something is 'wrong'. I was lucky because this is something that has been very open in our household but I have always thought that for something to be completely accepted it sould be presented as being completely normal and acceptable.
Maybe it could just be dropped into a normal conversation and allowed to settle into the consciousness before it's addressed head on. Perhaps you could bring the conversation around to who you love and how you love. Perhaps mention that there are different kinds of love.... the love you feel for your friends, your children, your wife, other men...
Make it normal and it will be accepted as normal
Good luck
Strangely I actually love funerals. I have a great time. Much better than weddings because no one expects you to get up and dance... you just stand around talking crap with friends and family, sneak away for a cigarette with the young hot guys, eat loads of junk and get pissed... I mean what could be better? Ok... it can be a little sad but I actually like being sad now and again. I mean if someone you care about has died you are going to be sad anyway so you may as well get free food... and people always buy you a drink so all good. And if they weren't close even better.
I say go and have a blast. It's amazing how much trouble you can get up to at a funeral because everyone is so distracted.
