Two boys, best friends, about as opposite as opposite can be, hold onto their love for each other as they age toward the exit door we all seek.

Patrick is having a few problems his sophomore year of high school. Besides being the poorest kid in school, he's run out of underwear, and another boy keeps bugging him for a date.

Twelve year old Bobby travels by train to visit his grandparents for Christmas, but all is not as he remembered from the previous summer. For one, there is his thirteen year old cousin, Carl, who Bobby never met.

Other than giving his allegiance to Vini, god of grapes, wine and ale, distilled spirits, healthy bowels, prosperity, the Harvest, and boyoes who accept the love of another boyo, Spid Doop is your average fifteen-year-old Schtickist. He hates Normals with a well deserved passion, he gets in trouble with his Mamt and Pubi, and he dreams of the day when he can have his own habitat. However, there is one thing different about Spid, a Normal boyo wants him.

Stephen is your everyday high school jock, popular and smart too. While he has gotten accustomed to living his life each day as a straight guy, deep down he knows he’s gay, and one magical night he meets someone who intrigues him enough to step out of his normal complacency and take a chance at being himself.
