First in a collection of gay-related fairy tales. As Thomas grows from childhood to young adulthood, he learns some shocking truths about supernatural creatures.

A romance suggested by the song "Waltzing with Bears," a song by Dale Marxen adapted from the Dr. Seuss song of the same name. Although the "present day" of the story is 2011, the events related in it take place in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

This is the first story in the series entitled, "Wearing Green on Thursday." It is the first part of the fictional autobiography of Bruce Hutton, a gay man in his late forties.

In this story, we meet Bruce, who is a championship swimmer, and learn of his struggles with his sexuality. We are introduced to his best friend, Craig, with whom Bruce will have the pleasure of exploring gay sex.

This is the sequel to the first book, A Touch of Blue. It is highly recommended to read that one first before delving into this one 😸

After a few months of cruises around the Strahan area, I decided that I needed a change, but with my responsibilities in Tasmania, I was very reluctant to just fly off to Scotland and spend some time there. Instead, I decided on having an extended holiday onboard my new yacht, with just the crew on board

Some of the historical details and people of the story are from the actual history of Franklin, NH; others, including the two main characters, are fictional. I have changed their names from the names written on the backs of the photographs.
