This is my first attempt at writing a story that is no gay or straight. There are people in it that are both. It is set in the future, but once you begin to read it what year it is won't matter.

Charlie Boone and his friends have been working to develop their powers, and to expand what they know about them. While on an experiment with Max to test out a new concept, the guys discover a mystery taking place in the far north, one that might have far-reaching consequences for Planet Earth. And possible new adversaries, of a most dangerous kind! The guys are off on a new adventure, just in time for Halloween!

This is a continuation of my previous story, 'On My Deathbed.' In that story, Red says "I hope I’m wrong about there being nothing else. I’m a determined old bastard, so if I can let you all know there’s something else, I’ll damn well try", and "I think this is it for me. I’ll be back if I ca..." The incomplete word being can, obviously. You probably don't need to read that first to enjoy this one, but it's short, only 1,164 words.

Avery Noonan is a man with a unique ability. He sees people’s auras. He not only sees them, but he sees them in different colors. As he ages, he discovers the colors each take on their own meaning. He continues to learn more and more about this ability as his life progresses.

War! Nothing on earth even comes close with regards to heartbreak, tearing apart relationships and families, and leaving dreams shattered! History is littered with the shells of the broken hearts of millions, and yet the wars never end. So, what happens when two young lovers in a small country town during WW1 are called to play their part? Can their love endure? Will they be reunited at wars end? Or will their love be trampled into the earth by the boots of a marching army?

Esperanza, a descendant of curanderas, grapples with her identity and unspoken love for Lucía. As the Day of the Dead approaches, mysterious disappearances unsettle their town and deepen Esperanza’s inner conflict. During the parade, a lost soul seeks her help, uncovering hidden truths of love and loss long forgotten. Torn between family traditions and her true self, Esperanza must choose whether to embrace her ancestral powers and feelings for Lucía, helping lost souls while finding her own voice.
