This is a collection of poems I have and will be writing to celebrate life. I want to emphasize the beauty in our lives, humor and changes we make.

A product of a sterile lab, Dani is a vampire unlike any other — he's never known humanity. This is the story of my coming out, my first gentle steps into the world of sex, and my first partners. It's a tale of passion and discovery, of tenderness, love and mutual satisfaction. It chronicles my year of turning from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan, and I hope you enjoy it.

Each chapter of this multigenre anthology follows a different character at different points in time during an ongoing Apocalypse.

Characters:

Dan, 15 years old, confused about his sexuality.
Dad, 40 years old, more understanding and compassionate than most dads of that era.
Joseph, Dan’s friend, same age, perhaps more aware of his sexuality than Dan.

There is so much wishful thinking in this story. I wish every gay/straight/bisexual/confused/questioning young person, male or female, could have this kind of understanding and support.

Jaime is a 30yo Firefighter that is restarting his life. Trying to break free of this overprotective family, controlling ex-inlaw, while having some fun along the way and maybe learning a life lesson or three as well. Can Jamie do it... let's see.
