Alone among the humans with only whispered rumors to guide me, I longed for the cool meadows of my homeland, but I was on a mission. Humans plagued me. They sought me out for the magic I could weave into metal, never divining my true purpose searching among their stables.

This started as a story for the Grid Game and has gotten bigger.

Simon is a newly turned vampire, he's made his home in a lovely cave on a mountain.

Unfortunately, someone else has decided they like the cave too.

My prompt was - A newly-made vampire (verb) deep forest on a mountain no one dares enter (conjunction/pairing word) the cat won't move.

I endured years of experiments at the hands of sadistic aliens. Barely eighteen, I've been rescued from the tiny cell and the years of enforced sensory deprivation. Deke allowed the cultural schism to drive away the man he loved. They received news of a tragic accident, and he believed he lost Kraig forever. All he has left is his duty.

When the unexpected happens, it will take every ounce of his conviction and control to protect not only his streak but the man his heart beats for.

Emmett is a Canadian polar bear who loves his job, gets on great with his panda room mate, and gets to have excellent sex with his new boyfriend. So when the panda's cousin moves in with them, it shouldn't bother him, but Emmett isn't so much in control of his imagination as he used to be.

Vash is rescued, but what is the cost of that freedom?

Jackson and Casey are willing to anything to ensure Vash stays free.

Nicklaus and Fieo are drawn to each other, but so much stands between them and joining in besedad. Nick has some very real fears to work through, but will he have the time and space he needs to overcome his past? Fieo's mission to find the Collectors will take them far from Caeorleia and stress on their already tenuous relationship.

This is an introduction to Unison Island, including how it started and how it is governed. This was prompted by the reviews I have received on my other stories. Some facts have of course been left out if they impact on current or future stories - Sorry but you'll have to wait for all the answers.
