English in outlook, my stories cover a range of genres. Discovering a new life or a new love is one unifying theme. Another is the age range of my characters; I write across generations, exploring their different yet intertwined queer experiences. Stay for a quick snack, or a full meal - it's your choice.

My stories are M/M romance with a special focus on young, sensitive, artistic men being paired with "rugged" alpha male types.

CAVEAT LECTOR! 'When explicit sex is combined with a lot of preposterous chatter, it then becomes unendurable, an affront, to the patience and intelligence of the reader.' That is an edited statement from a critique of my, then newly published, favorite of favorites, "Stranger in a Strange Land".

Valkyrie is new to fiction writing and finished her first serial in May 2014. Her work generally centers on flawed individuals who tend to go through some pretty tough times before reaching their happily ever after; if indeed, they do reach it. She is a big fan of animals, especially cats and horses, and they feature in quite a few of her stories. She is also a fan of sappy romance; although she tries to keep that to a minimum in her writing.
