DomLuka's Official Story Site. DomLuka dominated the online gay writing genre in the early 2000s with his strong character-driven narratives. He slipped off quietly in 2009 and we haven't heard from him since, sadly. There are a handful of stories that he never finished and are so marked.

The two stories I've authored thus far, WORKING IT OUT and BELOVED, can be classified as "growing up gay" works, I think. The protagonist(s) are outed or come out to family and friends, sometimes moving from questionable support or lack of support for their orientation among significant others into strong commitments which permit them to mentor others. Religious affiliations of the heroes and their real or adoptive families are portrayed as supportive of gays, who often seek formal recognition .

I enjoy writing, partially because I like it, and hopefully to bring smiles, and sometimes tears, to my readers. Most of my stories center around younger gay males, and I tend to write more from the heart than I do the genitals. I do describe some hot sex scenes, but some chapters are sexless. I'm a Romantic at heart.

For the vast majority of my life I’ve lived in London, England, and worked in healthcare. Both have given me the chance to meet many different people in many different situations, which have all coloured my writing.

I am fascinated by how we live our lives, and as gay men how we find places for ourselves in today’s world, and how we lived in the past. So much of my writing tries to explore this, but it also explores issues and subjects that interest me or make me angry. Behind every headline is a story too.

I want to find the people in the situations and stories I write about.

As any writer, I value feedback to help improve my writing, so please leave a comment on the stories you read here.

    Happy reading.

I write gay stuff. Sometimes with wolves and witches, warlocks and fairies.
    I'm in Europe.

I started posting my first story, Oregon in the Fall, in December 2023. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you so much for reading, it means the world to me.

All my writing is on GA.
