My work is driven by my characters gleefully taking on lives of their own and dragging me along with my notepad and pen at the ready. Even if, to paraphrase Stephen King, you take ordinary people and throw them into extraordinary circumstances to see how they respond, I prefer realism, stories that could be happening right now with your neighbors, your friends, your family, or even you. And since my characters don't always give me a happy ending, I can't always give you one. Which is about as real as it gets.

I'm a 42 year old gay guy living in the south of England, UK. I live with my soul mate, a very special man who I've had the pleasure of living with for the last 21 years. At the beginning of 2009 we decided to get married and this has proved to be a good decision as it has only served to bring us closer still.

I like to write original fiction, as well as fan fiction. Not all of it is smut, though. I haven't started any new projects yet for GayAuthors yet, but when I do, be prepared. :) I like to write "mindfuck" material, which makes the reader go "What the hell is going on?!?" and usually ends in main character death.
