I tend to write stories of a Fantasy or Sci-Fi nature centered around gay characters.

I was a Gay Liberation Front activist in London in the 1970s, among other things setting up West London GLF and organising gay dances attended by hundreds in Fulham Town Hall.

I live with my partner in West London, and am a member of GALHA, the LGBT section of the British Humanist Association.

I write literary fiction and M/M romance—books about men who've built themselves around discipline and distance, and what happens when someone gets close enough to test it. Some are quiet and slow. Some are explicit. Most sit somewhere in between, and I'm more interested in the moment a man decides to be seen than in tidy endings.

I'm American, I've lived most of my life somewhere other than where I started, and I currently write out of Colombia with a golden retriever who runs the place.

My first stories that were published were erotica and my last two stories were gay erotica. I am working on a gay mystery and gay Sci-Fi.
